Hi,

    My name is Debbie. We have two sons, ages 5 and 6.  We live in Austin.  I homeschooled my 6 year old exclusively last year and this year he is homeschooled in the morning (until 10:30) and then attends public school for the remainder of the day.  He was grade skipped into second grade this year.  My 5 year old is happily attending Kindergarten in the same school.  I don't see the same signs of giftedness in him although the teacher tells me he is the brightest in her class, but for now he is very happy in school.  It is a relief!

    I'm looking forward to hearing from other Texas families' experiences.  Also, maybe we can keep each other up-to-date on activities, events, conferences, etc. to maximize our homeschool experience.  I'm anxious to meet all of you!
