We have been homeschooling a son (born in 1984) and a daughter (born in 1996) their whole lives.  We love homeschooling and plan to continue until the kids are in college.  We are all native Texans.  We moved from Dallas to central Texas in 1991.

Just a warning:  I have been known to talk to a complete stranger at the pool; and by the end of the conversation, she was going to take her child out of school the next day and start homeschooling.  That could mean I was in the right place at the right time for that mother, but it could also mean I'm a zealot.  Ha.

We practiced "attachment parenting" long before we knew it had a name.

I am the Artistic Director of EASY Theatre a nonprofit theatre company.  I'm acting, directing, and teaching theatre to homeschool kids and to adults.  We perform and teach mostly in a 200 mile radius around Austin.
