My name is Linda, I have 3 daughters (19, 11 soon to be 12 and 10), one grand daughter (1). Oldest homeschooled last year of high school and is now 1st year at local college. Youngest is homeschooled after terrible last year due to illness and attitude of school (she looks healthy and doesn't disrupt class) I am a substitute teacher (don't boo - gotta pay the bills :-D ).
Middle daughter is still in public school due to the G/T programs and lack of confidence by mom to meet her needs in this area. However, we're marching to the school Friday - again - to deal with difficulties. She may not make it through this year there. I am confident in my abilities with my youngest but with this one - it's intimidating when your child outscores you on an Intelligence test!!!So, my hopes are to pull her out after getting the oomph and info I think is necessary for me to make sure she is challenged - because she is VERY lazy since most things come easy to her. I welcome any help, suggestions, etc. And a very big thanks in advance!
