        Hello! My name is Lisa. I'm a single mom of two kids, Heather age 8 and Ryan age 4. I'm in northeast Austin. I operate a registered home daycare for 6 fulltimers and 2 parttimers (my children included).

        I'm in the middle of getting started homeschooling. Heather is finishing this last month of 3rd grade, mostly because she tried out for choir and has a performance that she is committed to do in the middle of the month. Ryan is
 preschool aged and so has been technically homeschooled anyway, with the preschool curriculum. Heather is very excited about starting and has already made a list of what she wants to learn about, including World War I & II, how clocks work, how electricity is made, plants under water, etc.

        I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
