Hi,

     My name is Melody B.  My husband, Bob, and I live in Dallas, with our only child, Trace, a 9yo boy.  Trace has gone to 3 private schools in the last 4 years, plus a separate pre-school.  Poor little guy is having a tough time finding the right fit; he's gifted, with dysgraphia.  He's currently in occupational therapy for the handwriting problems.  I'm considering hsing him next year, and have joined this list for 2 reasons:  the first is, to learn as much as possible about hsing, and also, hopefully, to maybe find some peers for him.  Texas is a big place, but smaller than the US, so maybe I can find him a kid or two to meet up with, that he could enjoy things with.

     Of course, my unstated reason is also to enjoy "talking" to other parents of gifted kids.  If I decide to do this hsing thing, I'll definitely need words of wisdom from those who are already doing it!
