Resourceful and tenacious and gives an impression of toughness, but is easily hurt, with a strong need for security and somewhere safe and dark to shelter in, to restore frayed nerves and self-confidence. Loves to collect things. "Family first" could be their motto. Artistic, psychic, sentimental with strong clinging tendencies. Can become touchy, moody, easily flattered, clannish. Good at anything to do with the sea or nurturing. As nurses, gardeners, hoteliers. Never order these sensitive creatures, it only unbalances and hurts their feelings. Gently hint that the apartment is on fire, the dog has gone mad, or granny is dead drunk - they'll sort it out their own way, in their own time and never realise it was your idea. Extremely protective of their own, but should "mother" be spelt "smother"? Remember, a crab never walks in a straight line...
