A friend lent me her copy of 'Conversations with God' (Book 1) earlier this year (1999) and I found it amazing and so interesting to read - so, when I was in the UK in October, I took the opportunity to buy myself books 2 and 3…

I was not able to read them at the time, because I was too busy with other 'stuff', but then, in the middle of November I found myself ill in bed for a few days with bronchitis and was able to read the whole of Book 2 and half of Book 3! I think it was no 'coincidence' that I was given this time to read these books… and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Book 2 is totally amazing. How I wish that every world leader, every politician, every business man and woman, and every church leader, wouldread this book... then perhaps we would start to see some changes for the better in our world!! At the time of writing this I haven't quite finished reading Book 3, as I have been busy putting In*Sync together, but I am reading a little more every night before falling asleep and loving every page - every paragraph - every sentence!

These books are not 'an easy read' because the words challenge everything you think knew - all you've been taught and all you've held to be true. You often find yourself reading the same pieces over again - because you didn't believe you read it right the first time! But no matter how challenging his words are, they make so much sense. You may not agree with everything that is said in these books, but you won't be able to stop thinking about it all, long after you have put the books down…

So, if you get any book tokens, or money - why not give yourself a truly wonderful gift - get yourself a copy of Conversations with God!!! Then after you've read the book (or books!) write to me and tell me what you thought of them.

I shall finish by quoting an extract from the back of Book 2...
