Prediction

My first prediction dream happened in the late sixties. I can't remember the exact date, but some of your more mature Sussex readers may recall the horrific train crash at Hither Green, just outside Charring Cross station on the Hastings to London line. I was living in London at the time. It was a Sunday evening and my husband and I were watching T.V. when a news flash came on - telling of the train crash, which had just happened and saying that many had been injured and many were feared dead. We thought how awful it was and continued watching T.V. when the normal viewing had been resumed.

That night I had a dream, the dream did not depict a train crash, in fact it was of nothing in particular; but it was a dream of chaos - out of the chaos was the sound of a little boys voice calling for his daddy. This little boy was Michael, who was at the same playgroup as my daughter Anna. I awoke, remembered the dream and thought nothing more about it. I took Anna to playgroup that morning. The playgroup teacher seemed concerned. Michael had not come in that morning and she knew that he had gone to Hastings, with his parents - as his grandparents were having a Bonfire party. I was not aware of this. I knew immediately that Michael was dead.

Meeting my mother for lunch, I told her of my fears. She told me not to worry, saying she was sure there was another explanation for Michael's absence. I was not convinced. On the way home I bought a newspaper. Among the list of the dead were little Michael and his mother. His father had survived. He had been in the toilet at the time of the crash ... and in my dream, Michael, in his last moments, was calling out for his Daddy.
