Visions

Mama what's an Angel,
can they really fly?
Mama is he out there
watching you and I.

When the suns all shimmering
old man blackbird sings,
Mama b'lieve I've heard him
gently flapping wings.

Daddy when the stars are bright
and I can't get to sleep,
I creep out to my window
just to take a peep.

Mama see the rainbow?
shining in the sky,
that's my Angel's ladder
when he visits you and I.

Daddy see the spiders' webs
sparkling with the dew,
well that's my Angel's diamonds
he said you can have some too.

Yes my love, he's always there
with a torch to light your way
so keep your childhood dreams my son
and you'll never go astray.

Your blue eyes full of innocence
see a vision from above,
and what's your Angel's name my sweet
you say his name is love.
