What the Great Books of Western Civilization Bookstore Is All About.

Welcome to the Great Books of Western Civilization Bookstore. If you are like me, you do not like reading classic works of literature on a computer screen. There is something different about holding a book in your very own hands. Plus, it is much easier to take notes in the margins of your book's pages, than it is on your computer screen.

So, in association with Amazon.com, I have set up this bookstore in conjunction with the main Great Books of Western Civilization page. The purpose is to provide you, the great books reader, with an online opportunity to purchase the books you want to read yourself, or to give as gifts.

Amazon.com is responsible for all customer service, including payment processing, ordering, shipping, order status reports and even returns of any kind. If you have any questions about your order or about using the Amazon.com system, please contact Amazon.com directly (http://www.amazon.com/). The "mail us" link at the bottom of their pages should give you a list of the appropriate contacts at Amazon.com Books.

II hope you enjoy what you find here, and that you find it useful. If you have any concerns or suggestions about the design and the layout of these page, please let me know. Also, if you know of any editions of these works in publication that you feel should be listed on these pages, please drop me an e-mail, and do my best to add them to the list of editions available to order. If you do notify about a work, it would be a great help if you could as much information about as possible (author, title, ISBN number, publisher, editor, translator, year published, etc.)

Sincerely,

B. Lewis Noles
