On September 16, 1999, twelve Alpha Sigma Tau alumnae met in Charleston, WV. These women weighed all the options presented to the alumnae of Alpha Sigma Tau and decided to petition to become an Alumnae Chapter for their area. The petition was signed and sent to Alpha Sigma Tau National Headquarters the following day. On October 1, 1999, the petition for us to become the Charleston, WV, Area Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau was accepted. We now have to work together to fulfill the requirements of a chapter as set down by Alpha Sigma Tau. We are currently working on plans for our alumnae affiliation status. As we make decisions, this page will be updated.
