I've been accused of having a schedule, not a life. That's probably because I know just how short it can be and want to fill it with as much beauty and joy as possible.
I love the arts in any form, though music is my greatest love. I sing professionally in a church choir and was lucky enough to be part of the choir at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, New Jersey for some time. While there, I sang for Mother Theresa of Calcutta and his holiness, Pope John Paul II. It doesn't get much better than that.
I come from an opinionated family and I like to write my opinions down. Read them if you like.
Jennifer's world is also inhabited by Lady Isabeau d'Orleans, her counterpart in The Society for Creative Anachronism, a world-wide educational and research organization dedicated to the Medieval and Renaissance periods of history. My local branch is the Royal Forest of Rusted Woodlands where I am the Minister of Arts and Sciences and promote the research and study of arts of the period (and more importantly to the beuracracy--write the reports!).
My interests and these worlds combine. I practice my historical costuming, singing, conducting and cooking in both of them. It definitely makes life more vibrant.
Here are some links to some interesting sites for music, art and things Medieval and Renaissance
