FINANCES AND STADIUMS

Finances
The first season will start with a salary cap depending on your chosen team (Inter Milan spends more money than teams like Sampdoria and Piacenza...)
Every club will have a salary cap in between 30 and 75 million Euros to purchase players and improve stadiums, scouts and coaching. After the first season Team Salary caps will depend on how much the team made in ticket revenues and selling players the previous year.

Debt
A club may never go into debt and a manager may never submit orders that require spending more of a resource than he has at the beginning of a game. If you are getting into financial problems, you should consider trading players for cash.

Healthy budgeting
Managers are advised to project their income ahead to ensure they have sufficient funds for next season's salaries and additional fees.

STADIUMS AND TICKET REVENUES

Stadiums
Each Team's stadium is given a crowd capacity beginning at 50,000 all seated . This capacity can be increased up to a maximum of 150,000 Mega Stadium. For each 1,000 increase in capacity it costs 0.5 million Euros. You cannot increase more than 1,000 seats per week. E.g. for 50,000 capacity two average teams may attract 35,000 on average.

Attendence
Attendence depends on many things- Stadium, Fan base, league match or cup and Ticket prices.

Fan Base
Each team has a rating for it's fanbase. All teams begin at 5.0 and this can increase or decrease according to your match results, stadium size and lowering of ticket prices.

Public Relations
Each Team has a certain amount of people which make up its fan base. So how do you increase your attendence? Well, there are 3 main ways; 1.Winning matches (Pretty obvious eh!)
2. Acquiring good players (Fans will show up just to get a glimpse of Ronaldo) and 3 Lowering ticket prices.

Ticket prices and Ticket Revenues
Most of a Team's income comes from ticket revenue; a team gets a certain amount of income from ticket revenue for every Home match in which it plays. The amount earned in each match is given by the formula: Gate = Ticket price * Attendence * 2
You may arrange your ticket prices at 20 euros to 50 euros
For example:
Bari has an average attendence of 45,000  and has set ticket prices to 30 euros, therefore team Bari will make on average 1.8 million Euros a match and 35.1 million Euros a year
(so 35.1 million will be used as next year's salary cap)

This example excludes any factors such as stadium improvements.

THE PRESS

Press Releases and Team Reports
The manager must send in a team report to the INSL mailing list every two weeks. In the report include your team's projection, your thoughts on your team (weaknesses, strengths) and what your looking for. It should be as roughly the length of a paragraph or two. Keep it interesting. Also in addition to team reports I'm looking for press releases. In press releases you can talk about anything league-related. Your predictions, What your looking for, talking about other teams and so on.

COACHING AND SCOUTS

COACHING
Coaches give benefits to club performance, making them play harder and giving them needed confidence. All clubs begin with a coaching level of 1.0 but can increases this rating up to 10.0 (the maximum). To increase a club's coaching level, a club may invest 0.1 for every level increase of 0.1
(therefore, a coaching level increase of 3.2 will cost a club $3.2 million Euros) Bonuses from coaching for matches are compared between the two clubs playing. The difference of the Coaching level is applied to the better coach's club. (Coach#1 level - Coach#2 level = Coach#1 bonus) These bonuses are used for attack and defense.

SCOUTS
All clubs begin with 1 scout. The scouts allow you to get reports on other clubs. Scouting reports vary in their accuracy and content. You can send them (the scouts) to other leagues were they can find you (free-agent) players to sign on to your club. The following leagues are available for scouting.....
Brazilian league, French league, German league, Dutch league, Spanish league and English league.
So you can effectively scout players out from other countries and find a player that would fit in with your club's needs. Take a chance!

To purchase even further scouts Email me in your turn orders. Each new scout costs $2 million Euros.
