WHAT
I EXPECT OF YOU:
-
Demonstrate respect for teachers,
other students, yourself, and guests in our classroom at all times.
-
Be on time for class.
-
Come to class prepared with all
materials, books, and assignments. You will not be allowed to leave to
get anything you are missing.
-
Only one person talks at a time.
Please raise your hand if you have something to contribute so that everyone
gets a chance to be heard. Do not interrupt the person already speaking.(See
rule number 1)
-
All notes, homework assignments
and tests should have the proper heading.
-
Full credit will be given for
assignments that are done correctly and handed in when DUE.
-
If you are absent, it is your
responsibility to find out what you missed and to make it up.
-
Talk when it's time to talk,
work when it's time to work.(See rule number 1)
-
I expect you to take pride in your work and for you to challenge yourself to do your very best.
-
You do not have to ask to leave
class to use the bathroom, but only one person may leave the room at
a time.
-
You must ask permission to leave
the room during a test.
-
If you need to discuss any problems
that you are having with the course I will be more than willing to
hear you, but you must speak in a respectful manner.
-
I expect you to learn as much
as possible during the course of the year, but I want you to have a good
time too!
WHAT
YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME
- I will treat you with respect.
-
I will keep you informed of all
tests and assignments in a timely manner.
-
I will do my best to make my
class an interesting and informative place to be.
-
I will probably give you homework
almost everyday (but not too much!).
-
I will challenge you to give your best effort and help you to achieve excellence.
-
I will give honest consideration
to any problems that you might have with my class.
-
I will give you projects and
self taught lessons that will count in your grade.
