Welcome.
2006.... I'm not even going to promise updates anymore. Take it for what it is...just another personal website, my first attempt at html. Watch my other sites if you want current.

As you may know, or have figuree out, clicking on the photo above takes you to a webquest. The webquest has been a great success, and I NOW have a basic grammar lesson plan on ALEX. In the meanwhile I have completed a great cultural project along with a scoring rubric. It fits in well with lessons dealing with shopping, food, currency, music...almost anything. Help yourself here.

So to get back to the business at hand, I must first offer some useful links.

The Alabama State Defense Force, my *real* webpage, and the focus of most of my energy these days.

A lot of my other energy is going to My Treo dot Net, the universe's premier source for all your Treo needs. Don't forget to read my product reviews, and vote for my articles each month to help give me a little argent de poche.

Due to the extensive work I've put into this site, I also offer to teachers of all levels and all subjects TRIP. Like they say about the spaghetti sauce - it's in there!

Not necessarily the first anymore, but still my favorite is the link for FLTeach, the list server for foreign language teachers everywhere. There are some wonderful people who have contributions to make that you just can't live without hearing. Please add yourself to their list of more than 2,000 subscribers now.

Following in this vein, I offer T-Bob's French links. If it's French, it's in there. From Apollinaire to Zola, Aix-en-Provence to Zurich - he's got it all. (Ok, maybe not Zurich, but I can't think of a French city that starts with a Z. If you can - e-mail me tout de suite!)

In the summer of 1998 I participated in the
Mobile Bay Writing Project. Teachers - if you are ever presented with the opportunity to take part in a National Writing Project workshop of any sort -
go for it! I guarantee it will be the most valuable and rewarding thing you've ever done.

For five weeks, sixteen classroom teachers from all levels and content areas met, shared demonstrations, and wrote. We wrote, and wrote, and wrote. And then when we thought there were no words left...we wrote some more.

I'd like to share some of my writing with you, and invite you to contact me if you want lesson ideas.

Poetry

Sparky Tails

Our major endeavour during the Mobile Bay Writing Project was a series of writings with a common theme. I focused mine on tenure. I present you with the first, an interior monologue, and the third, a piece of fiction. (As soon as I find the second piece, I'll add it.)
