     Welcome to the internet home of the Jackson High School bands, featuring the JHS Red Regiment.  Jackson High School is located at 323 Harkness St., Jackson, Georgia, 30233.  The director is Mr. James Bagley, with assistance from Craig Owens, Sid Carter, and Cathy Fowler.  The Red Regiment is one of the top AA-AAA bands in the state of Georgia, and has proven itself for the last decade to be a noble competitor.  A running list of awards bestowed upon the marching, symphonic, and concert bands can be found on the page "Band in the 90's."  In 1998, the Red Regiment was invited to and attended the London New Year's Day Parade and Festival, an annual event viewed in person by over a million people last year, and broadcast live to countries all over Europe.   The bandnow has the entire show on the field and will be working in the next several weeks to clean the show before its first of three contests, at Sandy Creek.
