Ogrokh Model Sheet
I don’t usually do these, but a few years back a friend at university suggested it might be possible to produce a short piece of 3D animation involving one of the Orcs! cast, and asked if I could draw up a model sheet as a reference guide. I chose Ogrokh because he’s mostly made up of big, round shapes, and would therefore be easier to animate; plus I just thought it would be cool to see him stomping around on-screen. Sadly the project never got off the ground, but it was still a fun thing to work on; up to that point I’d only ever drawn Ogrokh facing forward, so to figure out what he looked like from behind, above and below was quite interesting, and it’s come in handy for pictures I’ve done since. His expression in the front and side views never fails to make me smile, too; they’re almost like full-figure passport photos.
