Many individuals have contributed material to this site over the past 18 months and to all of you my sincere thanks. The men of the 77th Bombardment Squadron have been the most active. I challenge others to follow the fine example of the 77th and share your information with others.

Purpose The history of the 11th Air Force and her associated units during World War II has been sadly neglected on the internet. This site hopefully will correct that oversight. It is my intent to include All Units that were assigned to the 11th during the war. Each unit will have their history, insignia, patches, photographs and personal stories on pages within the site.
I cannot do this alone. Without your contribution this site will not grow. Your input is encouraged. No contribution is too small. Looking forward to your input.
