A new breed of Maltese leaders

You silly witless race

too lazy to think, fantasise, muse,

you regurgitate as opposed to creating,

accept because incapable of reason,

and embrace the declarations of mavericks

as dogma

whilst they alienate, play around,

fiddle with your souls,

run circles around you like hungry vultures,

clocking up political mileage,

You silly witless race,

take heed: the rules of the game have changed,

these emerging Maltese patriots,

who for the sake of one lousy cent

or self-preservation will feed

their very mothers to the dogs.
