PRIME MINISTER PLEASE NOTE

Barely a week has passed from the publication of my letter Then came the shotguns…that your newspaper reported the massacre of some 24 protected seabirds (TMI 23 August 1999).

This leaves me with no option but to publicly request that the environment portfolio be placed FORTHWITH in the hands of a more capable Minister.
