Hi my name is Laura Daniels and volleyball is probably the best sport ever invented. It takes skill to be able to play it well. Some people may not know, but there are actually distinctive positions in volleyball. We don't just pass or hit the ball whenever it comes to us. That would be stupid!!! Anyways, some positions are Libero, which is a back row passer,a front row player, that hits and blocks, or a setter, that sets the ball to the players who are going to try and hit it over the net.




I played on the freshman volleyball team this year as Libero. As I already stated, Libero is a back row passer/specialist who also gets a different color jersey. Anyways, our record this season was 23-3 and we won the league, beating Colfax in the last game! It was so cool!
