PROCEDURES TO UPDATE THE SYSTEM BIOS

(1)Download the BIOS upload utility- AWDFLASH.EXE

(2)Download the updated BIOS CODE XXXXX.BIN

(3)Use the floppy diskette to boot the operation system at DOS (A:\ >)

Or press F8- key to trigger the multi-boot selection menu when loading

Windows O/S, and then select Command prompt only to boot system at C:\ > .

(4)Key-in BIOS UPLOAD UTILITY followed with the BIOS CODE :

AWDFLASH.EXE XXXXX.BIN

(5)When the following message displayed at the bottom of the screen:

DO YOU WANT TO SAVE BIOS (Y/N)

Please select N

(6)When the following message displayed:

Are you sure to program (Y/N)

Please select Y

(7)Wait until the following message appeared:

RESET SYSTEM OR POWER OFF TO ACCOMPLISH UPDATE PROCESS

(8)Click on F1 key to restart the system

During the Power On Self Testing (POST), press the DEL- key to start the BIOS

setup utility. Select LOAD SETUP DEFAULTS and then save the setting and exit

the BIOS setup utility. When system restarted, the BIOS update is completed.
