Sky's first hit single, "Some Kinda Wonderful", entered the Canadian radio charts just over one year ago. Since that time, Sky have been a mainstay on the Canadian radio and retail charts. Sky's second single "Love Song" became the first song by a Canadian group to hit #1 at Top 40 radio since the inception of BDS in Canada. "Love Song" also hit #1 on the Much Music and Musiqueplus charts, as well as hitting the Top 5 on the AC charts.
Sky smashed sales records in February when their #6 retail debut for their album Piece of Paradise was the highest entry by a new Canadian artist since the inception of Soundscan. Piece of Paradise is now closing in on double platinum status in Canada. Sky have toured Canada from coast to coast and have completed promotional visits to Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia where "Some Kinda Wonderful" hit #1 in several countries.
Sky's fourth single, the stunning ballad "All I Want", has just been released to Top 40 and AC radio stations across the country and promises to be their biggest hit yet. Tune in to the MMVAs on September 23 to see Sky perform live.
