This is the song that made me fall in love with Sky's music. I wanted to believe this was a song about a guy who's a loner. He seems boring on the first glance but there's so much there underneath hence "It's a never ending ride you're taking!" And "If the darkness is all you see, You don't know what you're missin." He's not a partier and he likes to sleep and watch TV. I like this song the most because I'm like this. Interpretation of "Love Song" Love Song is about a guy who's finally telling everyone what everyone already knows: that his relationship with his girlfriend is over. He knows what's been going down, but he's just kept quiet about it until now. She went out and did her own thing while he stayed home because "she decides that the dogs they belong inside." (She treated him like a "dog" bascially) She controlled their relationship and decided that when she went out and had her fun, he couldn't come along with her--sort of like how a dog can't go out with its master. The lyric "It's kinda like a love song" is sarcastic in that what he's singing about to his girlfriend is like a love song but it's not. It's got everything about their relationship except for the fact that there's no love and it's the total opposite of what makes up most love songs. The lyric "Chester's beside you and he's singing you a love song" indicates that "Chester" is the new guy she's seeing behind his back and he is the one who's in love with her now.
