Missions and Language
One of the most common problems faced by missionaries preparing for the missions field or those already there is learning a new language, especially since many of the countries that receive a lot of missionaries don't have languages which are commonly taught in the U.S.
In the interest of aiding missionaries and their language instructors, I've listed a few websites you might find useful.

A content-rich and visually appealing site for any language learners, but especially missionaries. Check out the Language Learning Bookshelf for lots of free texts to get you jumpstarted!
Foreign Languages For Travelers
Key words for travel for many foreign languages are here, along with audio clips. This site is a good start for short term missionaries who need survival language skills.

Missions Training International
A training organization that has been used by many missionaries. Of special interest is their PILAT (Program In Language Acquisition Techniques) training.
The Four Spiritual Laws - In Your Language
This popular tract is available in many languages and can be used to acquaint you with how to share the gospel in another tongue.
