Hello. This is (ex-)Czar Levi I speaking. For a while my Internet connection was lost and I couldn't update my page. But I wish to inform you that the Communist Nation of Arteñya (ar-TENG-yah) will be going through some serious governmental change. I realized my communist ways were wrong.

It will be a new, democratic republic. The boundaries will be expanded, occupying a chunk of land now claimed by the state of New York. I currently have no images of the new flag, but imagine a rectangle with a vertical line through the middle. On the left is red and the right, blue. This country will come into existence on October 12, 1999, to coordinate with the previous independence day. Then, I will update my page and hope for the best. After the revisions to the page, you should be able to apply for citizenship over the Internet.

I have been doing some serious work on Arteñyan, the micro-national language. Once the grammar is de-bugged and a basic vocabulary is established, I will post some small texts in the language, and eventually, a simple teach-yourself guide. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are not yet written, but both will go into effect Oct 12.
