Politics and Religion

    You have heard the old warning not to discuss politics or religion with other people. Debates about either are bound to be explosive.

    It's easy to see why a discussion on politics gets the blood flowing. By definition every citizen is an "expert" on what's best for our country. One opinion is as good as another when it comes to tax cuts or social programs or going to war. After all, that's all opinions are--human opinions, not divine pronouncements.
