My other favorite authors is Tom Clancy with his Jack Ryan. I
like the way he uses characters from his other books and continues to develop
them in other works. Clark is my favorite guy for that reason. If
you liked Clancy's books and movies try this link for Redstorm
cause you will love the games based on those books.
Ann Rice, well if you haven't read THE MUMMY then you know Rice only because of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt and that's a real shame cause she is so much better than that (If you really want something different try reading her SLEEPING BEAUTY series - WOW!! But I warn you it is extremely sexual and graphic which means you'll run right out and get your copies today LOLOL.
Grisham hooked me because of THE FIRM, THE PELICAN BRIEF and THE CLIENT but lately I feel like he is writing with an eye toward Hollywood and I've gotten to where I don't go looking for his books until I know that none of my other favorites have anything new out.
Cornwell is getting to be like Grisham but I got hooked on her Scarpetta character when a friend gave my a copy of ALL THAT REMAINS, but FROM POTTER'S FIELD just doesn't get the job done - it ends way to abruptly.
As of yet, I have not yet learned to appreciate Stephen King, but I am trying - his book THINNER was the book I read after Koontz and I read as much as I could find by King but when I got to THE TALISMAN, I finally realized that I haven't evolved enough as a reader to tackle King and I started waiting for his movies but after what Hollywood did to THE STAND and TOMMYKNOCKERS (both of which I had read) I'm thinking its time to take another crack at his written work because Hollywood is as clueless about King as I am.
I have recently joined the Film Club at school. We watch really good movies and discuss them. I know it sounds deadly dull but its actually alot of fun.
Here are a few sites that I would like to pass along.
