Course Description This course covers skills required to perform the operation of a microcomputer.  The student will also learn elementary mechanics of troubleshooting computer problems including: board failure, peripheral malfunction and chip failure.   There is no prerequisite for the course.
Text and Supplies The Complete Computer Repair Textbook by Cheryl A. Schmidt.  A small repair kit that contains a healthy dose of patience and humor.

Course will focus 50% on theory and 50% lab.  The Lab will be hands on situations which should provide to the student the validity of the classroom instruction.
