Howdy! I'm Gene... |
Critters have invaded our home. We've got three dogs, a cat, some toads, lizzards, and other critters live outside and visit from time to time. We hang out at St. Jerome's Catholic Church. I'm a KofC-4th Degree. Houston has sort of been a cultural mecca for us. We''ve spent much energy going around and checking out the cultural scene--like haunted pubs and cemeteries. Houston has some of the oldest in Texas, and we enjoy visiting, looking at tombstone art, and paying our respects. |
Born in the lovely town of Luling, Texas, I quickly made my way to New Braunfels and spent much of my youth in the Comal River. I've lived in Central Texas, West Texas, and now East Texas. So, I've seen quite a bit of the state. Maybe I should move to South Texas. I'm an assistant professor of history at University of Houston-Downtown! |
