Some people say it is the "center of the world". The truth is far from that! It is merely a House which was reconstructed (almost from scratch) in an attempt to revive the memories and to become a shelter for generations to come, if ... anything went wrong. It could be located anywhere and there will be no writer (I guess) who will put down on paper the more than "100 years of solitude" it represents. However, it is there and once there it exists "as such", meaning that it has started having a life span of its own. One cannot help but acknowledge its existence and write about it. It is not about the House of course, it is always about the people.
Will the site expand to cover more than the House?
It is challenging but I can't promise nothing like that. For the time being one could simply navigate the various "rooms" and from there "understand" the environment in which it was doomed to exist in and interface with. This way the House becomes a symbol of some sort or the excuse for one to "link" things that might be of interest to others too.
For the time being, the House is all that this site is concerned with!
