Here is a quite silly addition to Topsy Furby - Separated at birth! We think that the Furbys below bear striking similarities to various creatures....what do you think? Make your own decision! If you can think of a "separated at birth" that we haven't got here, send it in! Yes, if your Furby  looks uncannily like the dust mites on your mum's 20 year old" Abba" record, send it in (a description of the similarity, not the record or the dust mites, thanks.) And don't send us "Giraffe Furby and a giraffe!" or "Frog Furby and a frog!" for obvious reasons.

Comparison #1

Honey Bear Furby... and a Rat?

FurbyBearBrn001.jpg (30247 bytes)                        rat3.jpg (8011 bytes)

We reckon Honey Bear Furby looks uncannily like this caramel-white rat. Note that the fur around the rattie's head is the same colour as Honey Bear Furby's fur. They have same brown eyes, and both have tails! Also, both are approximately half white. AND if you've ever owned a pet rat, you'll know that their teeth are not white, but bright yellow, and Honey Bear Furby has the same shade yellow beak! Spooky indeed!

Comparison #2

Snow Leopard Furby...and a Coneshell?

FurbySnowLeapardNEW.gif (21095 bytes)          coneshell003.jpg (23887 bytes)

We  think that this comparison speaks for itself.   Surely you can spot the similarity between the new third generation Snow Leopard Furby is just like Conus Marmorus (a species of coneshell, guys). Note the white fur spotted with the dark brown, almost the same pattern as Conus Marmorus. The only diff is, we don't think that Snow Leopard Furby shoots poisonous harpoons at you when you disturb him. Thank gosh.

Comparison #3

Gorilla Furby and... a Doberman Pinscher

FurbyGorillaNEW.gif (13514 bytes)                   11123079.jpg (14172 bytes)

Is it just the light, or does Gorilla Furby have brown eyelids, much like this Doberman Pinscher has brown eyebrows? Even if Gorilla Furby doesn't, we still reckon that these two are pretty similar. Gorilla Furby, has a brown chest and feet, and so does this Doberman. And the rest of thier bodies are black. AND the ears are similar.... woof!

Comparison #4

Any Furby Buddy... and a Pudding?

FurbyBuddyBlackBrn576976.jpg (11009 bytes)                b7giftp9.jpg (5447 bytes)

We have yet another comparison - this time it's Furby Buddy and a pudding. Yes, we say that Furby Buddy is the same shape as a pudding - fatter on the bottom than the top, basically the same shape. See how Furby Buddy widens at the bottom near his feet, just like this  chocolate pudding? We somehow think the pudding would taste better than the Furby Buddy though.Synthetic Fur versus chocolate! Mmmmmm...... chocolate!

Comparison #5

Giraffe Furby...and a Pineapple?

furbygiraffe.gif (43720 bytes)               Pineapple.jpg (11510 bytes)

Our latest comparison is that between Giraffe Furby and a pinapple. Notice how the pattern of Giraffe Furby's fur almost looks kinda like the skin on the pineapple? Well, Drew thinks it does anyway. Not only are they both the same size (almost) but both are a yellowy, orange colour and both have something sticking out of the top of their heads! In Giraffe Furby's case, it's a tuft of hair, in the pineapple's case, it's the spiky leaves! We don't suggest that you try to pet the pineapple, unless you like having nice big abrasions on your hands that sting like hell.

That's it! If  you believe that your Furby bears a striking resemblance to something, drop us a line! We'll have more comparisons here when Morrigan's warped mind can think of them.
