Pre Super Bowl Bash:

Visitors from Seattle:
 

To celebrate the Super Bowl and have fun the crew from Seattle descended South to La Jolla.  This was good reason for us all to celebrate at Alfonso's Mexican Restaurant..

Jan brought Marty and her French-a-fied child, Gillian.

Jill brought down George and Wendy.

Judd ( the blond) brought Sam ( he said meeting Jim completed meeting all 10 Amberg children).

Locals go out too:

Jim, Laureen and the boys came late and left early.  Jim was on call and had work to do.

Joan was feeling ill and could not attend.  It may have been bad  Ahi from the Marine Room the night before. ( or was it the martinis?)  Jill says she and Joan have never been so close.

John and Alicia attended sans children.  There was a funny moment outdoors after dining where Josh Amberg asked some adults " Have you seen my mother, Patric Petrie?" Like we did not know who his mother was!

Jerry took Super Bowl bets.

 A few updates for the next Ambergrist from the MN Ambergs-

We recently spent 5 days in NYC, attended the Westminster dog show, saw Mama
Mia, ate many great meals and came home exhausted.

I just returned from visiting my Dad in Florida.  Doing well after his heart
attack and bypass surgery

Molly was accepted at Cretin/Derham Hall High School - it was her first choice

I have a new car,too.  A Ford Explorer (with a sun Roof!).

Joe is going to Seattle March 7 - 10.  Jane and Molly are not.

Patric is now driving a Toyota Rav4
