"Going Beyond the Basics:  Research in the SCA"
            -Magistra Nicolaa deBracton

"Plunging for the first time into the depths of detailed research? Or wanting to take your work to the next level? Pondering that first visit to a university or research library, but unsure of where exactly to look or who to talk to? Still not quite sure about primary, secondary, or tertiary sources? Research in the SCA can be far more than simply writing documentation, and may involve fascinating--and sometimes frustrating--detective work. The instructor (a Laurel in research and a PhD in medieval history) will help get you started--and hopefully, addicted!"
