This footnote is for all the gunho, nra, bird shooting, animal shooting for fun people who don't like my site and feel as though I'm downing them. This is free speech, I have the right to put my story up, and you have the right to agree or disagree with it. But think before you speak about this sight. It is a sight to enlighten, not to badger the nra or anyone else. Yes I purchased a gun, went through a background check, and did not have the gun in my hands until so (two weeks later but now it can take as little as three days). At gun shows there are no background checks but the law will soon make that a thing of the past.

And for the record I had not only handgun training several years ago (i. e. cleaning, etc.), but also shotgun training in preparation for the act 235 card (for those who don't know what that is it's a certification to carry a weapon at your place of employment pertaining to security). I also fired the shotgun many times and if anybody has had this training you know that at some point you fire the weapon on your knees, and also in the dark. I went to this place to recap and go over my training from the past. I also went to get familiar with this particular gun when I encountered this person who took advantage of me. Although I knew some things I did not know all of them, including prices and different models of firearms. Accidents happen, and you must share your mistakes with others to prevent the same thing from happening, or worse. So remember; think before you speak out, and if you are going to respond to this story via email or the guestbook have a return address, don't be a pigeon!.
