HOWDY PARDNER The ROCKY ROOS are looking forward to your visit to Colorado. We will try to make our ROCKY MOUNTAIN HI National Rally something special that you will long remember. Don't miss this great Adventure. The site of the rally, Pueblo, Colorado, is a medium-size town with an interesting history. Many points of interest and beautiful mountain landscapes are nearby to Pueblo. When you arrive at the rally, you will be given a packet that will contain brochures describing many of the local attractions. However, we hope you will plan to extend your stay in Colorado to visit many of its other wonders. You will find the weather quite comfortable during the time of the rally. Daytime temperature highs should be in the low 80’s and nighttime temperatures in the 50’s. The chance of rain for this time of the year is normally quite low, but, as they say here, “if you don’t like the weather right now, wait a few minutes and it will change”. Shirt-sleeve weather is our call for Pueblo and other cities along the front range of the Colorado Rockies. Remember though, as you travel into the high country, cooler temperatures will be found. Plan to have a variety of jackets to match our weather. However, one item you will want to wear, regardless of the weather, is a camera or video recorder. Photo opportunities abound in Colorful Colorado. For those of you with heart or respiratory problems, remember that we are at a quite high elevation. Although you will find our Colorado air very invigorating, we caution you to not over extend yourself. This is particularly true if you travel in the higher mountain passes. With a bit of caution, you should have no problems. |
