From: Erik. Let me first off apologize for the overall tone of my last letter to you. I was a bit surprised when I read it back myself and realized that I let too much emotion show through my comments. There is no excuse for this and I ask for your forgiveness. I will make every effort to be much more patient and more methodical with my comments to make sure that you understand where I am coming from.

...Christianity today stands largely on the foundation of Paul. Almost without exception, Paul's teachings can easily be refuted by anyone who has honestly studied the Hebrew bible for it what it actually says IF they can read it without bias.

...I still maintain that the WORDS OF JESUS must be our FIRST source for any foundational beliefs regarding how to gain eternal life. After all, if he doesn't know the path to the Father then we are all in for a surprise. I contend that Jesus has to be our ULTIMATE source for determining how to gain eternal life, especially if their are conflicting teachings and therefore different paths. The practice of NOT quoting Jesus from any of the books of Matthew, Mark or Luke on the all-important matter of gaining eternal life is the norm in Christianity (JohnPaulianity) today. Paul himself didn't bother with mentioning anything Jesus ever taught while here on earth. Paul never quoted anything Jesus actually said. He only quotes Jesus according to divine revelation(s) he received from Jesus about his own ministry. We then, of course, have to take his word on it. Because the teachings of Paul are crucial to the religion practiced by Christians today, I will deal with Paul mostly in this letter....

> > As for the 13th apostle, I don't think there really was 13....We never hear one more word about Matthias. He was numbered with the apostles by men, but not by God.

Another time you said that Peter "was acting in the flesh" when he and the other disciples chose Matthias. In my opinion this is not only a discrediting of Peter's authority but of the rest of the disciples also. What are the WORDS OF JESUS about Peter's authority to make decisions here on earth? We see that immediately following Peter's statement to Jesus that he was "the Messiah, the Son of God", Jesus said to Peter: "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My (- assembly or congregation, that is those who are followers of the prophesied and now revealed moshiach. Not founders of a brand new religion.) church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."... (Mt. 16:17-20 NAS95)

We can see here that Jesus clearly endorses Peter's authority to make decisions in a big way. Let's look at the decision that Peter and all the rest of the disciples made regarding replacing Judas. "These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer..." (Acts 1:14 NAS95)

Those who would question Peter and the 10 disciples authority to seek guidance from YHWH; can they say that they are "continually devoting themselves to prayer"? Can any of those who doubt the selection of Matthias say that they were handpicked by Jesus to be one of his 12 disciples and told personally that they were the foundation of all those who follow Jesus as messiah? Over 120 TRUE followers of Jesus in one place praying and seeking the will of YHWH. (Sorry, I can't resist making a quick digression here. They were not praying TO Jesus. Jesus expressly taught otherwise.(Mt.6:9) We are to pray to the Father NOT to the Son....you will find nowhere in the WORDS OF JESUS in Matthew, Mark or Luke that he ever instructed us to pray ANYTHING "in Jesus name." Where do we get this teaching to pray in such manner? Whoever the author of the gospel of John was couldn't make this point enough times. John 14:3, 14:14, 15:16, 16:23, 16:24, and 16:26. This author makes up the other half of the JohnPaulianity doctrinal pillars in Christianity today. The many problems with the teachings by the author of the gospel of John will have to be another letter.

Back to the disciples decision on whom to choose to replace Judas. "For it is written in the book of Psalms, 'LET HIS HOMESTEAD BE MADE DESOLATE, AND LET NO ONE DWELL IN IT'; and, 'LET ANOTHER MAN TAKE HIS OFFICE.' "Therefore it is necessary that of the men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us-beginning with the baptism of John until the day that He was taken up from us-one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection." (Acts 1:20-22 NAS95)

...Peter stipulates that whoever is chosen should be in accordance with his understanding of the scriptures in Psalms. Peter then states that the new apostle must be one who accompanied them with the Lord Jesus from the baptism of John until the day He was taken up from us. In fact, it was imperative that he must be an eye-witness of His resurrection. This is the same disciple that according to the WORDS OF JESUS "that whatsoever he binds on earth will be bound in heaven." Peter had the authority and only he could set the acceptable criteria for choosing the replacement of Judas. Paul, of course, would be eliminated as a candidate because he can not meet this criteria. Paul was not there when Jesus was baptized, nor was he a witness to his resurrection. The clear implication of Peter's of Psalms is that there is only one office to be filled and only one man to fill it. We can clearly see that both Matthias and Paul can't both fill that one office. One is real and one is an imposter.

they prayed and said, "You, Lord, (YHVH not Jesus) who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two YOU have chosen to occupy this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place." And they drew lots for them, and the lot fell to Matthias; and he was added to the eleven apostles. (Acts 1:24-26 NAS95)

...there are those who will say, "Yeh, but Matthias assumed the office of apostle prior to Pentecost and so therefore it was not legitimate." What are we to do with Acts 6:2 then? So the twelve summoned the congregation of the disciples and said, "It is not desirable for us to neglect the word of God in order to serve tables. (Acts 6:2 NAS95)

Did you catch that? "THE TWELVE"! This is after the promise of the Holy Spirit has come and for sure every follower of Jesus is now Spirit filled....MATTHIAS IS STILL ONE OF THE TWELVE....

And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Rev. 21:14 NAS95) OK, that's settled. Jesus never had more than 12 apostles while he was here on earth and we can clearly see that in the time of the New Jerusalem, there are still ONLY 12 apostles.... The scriptures in Revelation also show a clear connection between the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles. (Rev.21:12-15)...

...Paul makes it a point to elevate his authority over Peter and the very disciples that were handpicked by Jesus. In Gal. chapter 2, when Paul relates his trip to Jerusalem regarding the dispute from within over the necessity of circumcision and observance of the commandments, he says that he went to see those of "reputation". Then says in verse 6, that those of "high reputation made no difference" to him and that they "contributed nothing" to him. In verse 9, he even has the nerve to say that Peter, John and the very brother of Jesus were "reputed to be pillars." This is Paul's way of elevating his ministry above the very ones who actually knew Jesus personally and were taught by him personally. Paul even goes so far to rebuke Peter personally "to his face" in a showdown of sorts. But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. (Gal. 2:11 NAS95)

Poor Peter, the very foundation that Jesus built his congregation of followers on couldn't get the Messiah's theology straight even though he was personally taught by Jesus on a daily basis. Only Paul with his self-appointed status of apostle (Paul of course mentions no less than 16 times in his writings that he is an apostle) can seem to straighten out those confused disciples. In fact, if one will be honest, while reading Paul's letters, one will hear Paul rattle off personal pronouns at an astonishing rate. It's all about "I" ,"me","my", and "mine" with Paul.

Jesus, however, never alludes to this so-called apostle to the gentiles. This is not necessarily such a big deal since Paul arrived on the scene after Jesus was crucified and resurrected. However, Jesus is also strangely silent about Paul and his teachings even in the book of Revelation. Why is this strange? Revelation is believed to have been written well after Paul had written all of his letters and completed all of his missionary journeys. Still, not a single mention of the apostle by Jesus...Why? Let's see what the WORDS OF JESUS do say in Revelation about FALSE apostles.

"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this: 'I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate evil men, and you put to the test those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false; and you have perseverance and have endured for My name's sake, and have not grown weary. (Rev. 2:1-3 NAS95)

...2 Timothy. You are aware of the fact that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes. (2 Tim. 1:15 NAS95). That's right, according to Paul, ALL IN ASIA have turned away from him...

Why do you keep quoting 2 Timothy 3:16? You seem to be using this verse to defend all of the New Testament as having been inspired by God. This word scripture is Strongs 1124. The best that I can tell 1124 is used approximately 51 times in the New Testament. This includes John, Paul everything. Every time this word is used, the clear contextual meaning is in reference to the Hebrew bible as scripture or as Christians and Paul like to say "the Old Testament." Check it out yourself. No one during the first century carried around a New Testament and it wasn't considered scripture by the church until 200 years later after much debate about what to include and exclude. Until that time, they were merely letters in the hands of a very few people. It is impossible to make the leap that the other 50 references to Strongs 1124 that are know to refer to the Hebrew bible can somehow be different from this one usage in 2 Timothy. The one that Christians use constantly as support for ALL of the New Testament is inspired by God.

The WORDS OF JESUS in the books of Matthew, Mark and Luke in my opinion line up with teachings of YHWH in the Hebrew bible. There are so many holes in the teaching of Paul and the author of the gospel of John...

I encourage you and all of your readers to make up their own minds. All I ask is that you and your readers give a fresh read to the Hebrew Bible. Read it and study it and make up your own mind but determine beforehand that all that really matters is to know what the truth is, whatever it is. But most importantly, you must check the Christian spin at the door. Otherwise, you have very little chance of learning but will only see everything as you have been told to believe.

I also encourage anyone to point out any mistakes I have made and teach me where I am wrong. I certainly don't have all the answers and consider myself in need of learning new things while being able to shelve any belief that doesn't line up with the Hebrew bible and the WORDS OF JESUS. Thank you and blessings

My reply

> I ask for your forgiveness.

You have mine. I hope you know how to get God's. It is in John's writings (I Jn. 1:9), so you honestly may not know, and whether you are caught up as part of the Bride group or not just may ride on your understanding that one thing.

> > I still maintain that the WORDS OF JESUS must be our FIRST source for any foundational beliefs regarding how to gain eternal life....

Well, he sure knows. He is the Creator (Jn. 1:3; Heb. 1:2). In his pre-incarnate state, he is the one that decided how man was to be tested and saved in the 1st place. He is the one with which man has had to deal all along. He is the one that talked with Adam in the garden in the cool of the day (Gen. 3:8). He is the judge. He is the king of Israel AND his Redeemer, the YHVH of hosts (Isa. 44:6). He is the one that stayed awhile with Abraham after they ate and the 2 angels had gone on to bring Lot out of Sodom. Gen. 18:1 says, "the LORD (YHVH) appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre." He is the one that talked with Moses face to face. Ex. 33:11 says, "the LORD (YHVH) spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend."

He is the one that inspired the prophets to write the scriptures, all of them. He is omnipotent. He has the power to bring the scriptures to mankind in a form that he approves of, no matter who he chose to write down any part of them. The content went beyond what any mere man could have ever come up with. The Bible is one story, His story, from cover to cover...His powers are unlimited, and he is in complete control of things in this world today. Every one of his prophecies will come to pass just as he planned in the beginning, before he created the world...

In his incarnate state, he is the one that said, "What think ye of Christ? whose son is he?" Mt. 22:41-45 says, "While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?" Can you answer with the correct answer? The Pharisees failed to gain eternal life right there...

...He caused Psa. 110:1 to be written. It says, "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." In Rev. 22:16, Jesus said, "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root AND the offspring of David."...

> > ...Paul's teachings can easily be refuted...

I want to go on record that I believe Paul was taught by the Lord Jesus Christ and that what he wrote was God breathed. I read the Tanakh and the Septuagint. I have read Green's Interlinear Hebrew/English Old Testament, both his translation and right to left under the Hebrew words. Paul was converted by the Lord himself on the road to Damascus. Paul was caught up to Heaven and even heard "unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter" (II Cor. 12:2-7). He knew more than he was to teach, things that the other apostles did not know, therefore, he was very secure in his beliefs. What other prophet had such an experience?

You believe Luke...as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him A LIGHT FROM HEAVEN: And he fell to the earth, and HEARD A VOICE SAYING UNTO HIM, SAUL, SAUL, WHY PERSECUTEST THOU ME? AND HE SAID, WHO ART THOU, LORD? AND THE LORD SAID, I AM JESUS WHOM THOU PERSECUTEST: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, LORD, WHAT WILT THOU HAVE ME TO DO? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and IT SHALL BE TOLD THEE WHAT THOU MUST DO. And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and TO HIM SAID THE LORD IN A VISION, Ananias....the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, HE PRAYETH, AND HATH SEEN IN A VISION a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight....THE LORD SAID UNTO HIM, GO THY WAY: FOR HE IS A CHOSEN VESSEL UNTO ME, TO BEAR MY NAME BEFORE THE GENTILES, AND KINGS, AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL: For I WILL SHEW HIM how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even JESUS that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, HATH SENT ME, THAT THOU MIGHTEST RECEIVE THY SIGHT, AND BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus. AND STRAIGHTWAY HE PREACHED CHRIST IN THE SYNAGOGUES, THAT HE IS THE SON OF GOD...Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, PROVING THAT THIS IS VERY CHRIST" (Acts 9:1-22). What other prophet had an experience like this?...

> > ...following Peter's statement to Jesus that he was "the Messiah, the Son of God", Jesus said to Peter: "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My (- assembly or congregation, that is those who are followers of the prophesied and now revealed moshiach. Not founders of a brand new religion.) church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

What Jesus was building the church on were Peter's WORDS that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God, not on Peter himself. In the Complete Jewish Bible, Yeshua "said to them, "who do you say I am?" Shimon Kefa answered, "YOU ARE THE MASHIACH, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD." "Shimon Bar-Yochanan," Yeshua said to him, "how blessed you are! For no human being revealed this to you, no, it was my Father in heaven. I also tell you this: You are Kefa" [which means 'Rock'], and on this rock I will build my Community, and the gates of Sh'ol will not overcome it" (Mt. 16:15-18).

The Greek word translated "Kefa" is "petros," literally a little rock. The "rock" upon which the congregation was to be built is the Greek word "Petra," a massive rock, as at the city of Petra, where buildings are cut in the rose-red massive sandstone. In the original, it was a play on words that got lost in translation.

In Mt. 22:42 (CJB), Yeshua said, "TELL ME YOUR VIEW CONCERNING THE MESSIAH: WHOSE SON IS HE? The answer is Peter's statement in Mt. 16:16, "YOU ARE THE MASHIACH, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD." If we answer as Peter did, we are a rock in the spiritual church that is being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Yeshua Mashiach being the cornerstone."

Gal. 2:14-21 (CJB) says, "But when I saw that they were not walking a straight path, keeping in line with the truth of the Good News, I said to Kefa, right in front of everyone, "If you, who are a Jew, live like a Goy and not like a Jew, why are you forcing the Goyim to live like Jews? We are Jews by birth, not so-called 'Goyishe sinsser"; even so, we have come to realize that a person is not declared righteous by God on the ground of his legalistic observance of Torah commands, but through the Messiah Yeshua's trusting faithfulness. Therefore, we too have put our trust in Messiah Yeshua and become faithful to him, in order that we might be declared righteous on the ground of the Messiah's trusting faithfulness and not on the ground of our legalistic observance of Torah commands. For on the ground of legalistic observance of Torah commands, NO ONE WILL BE DECLARED RIGHTEOUS. But if, in seeking to be declared righteous by God through our union with the Messiah, we ourselves are indeed found to be sinners, then is the Messiah an aider and abattor of sin? Heaven forbid! Indeed, if I build up again the legalistic bondage which I destroyed, I really do make myself a transgressor. For it was through letting the Torah speak for itself that I died to its traditional legalistic misinterpretation, so that I might live in direct relationship with God. When the Messiah was executed on the stake as a criminal, I was too; so that my proud ego no longer lives. But the Messiah lives in me, and the life I now live in my body I live by the same trusting faithfulness that the Son of God had, who loved me and gave himself up for me. I DO NOT REJECT GOD'S GRACIOUS GIFT; FOR IF THE WAY IN WHICH ONE ATTAINS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS THROUGH LEGALISM, THEN THE MESSIAH'S DEATH WAS POINTLESS."

> > ...both Matthias and Paul can't both fill that one office. One is real and one is an imposter.

I know that Paul is NOT an impostor. It is dangerous for you to so much as utter those words. It puts up a sin barrier between you and our Holy God. Only confessing our sins to God can restore our fellowship with God. Confession tears down that sin barrier so that we can again be filled with his Holy Spirit.

When Peter acted to choose Matthias, it was before he received POWER when he was filled with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Just before Jesus ascended, he told them, "ye shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Earlier, at the transfiguration, Peter put his foot in his mouth. In Mt. 9:5,6, he said, "let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. For he wist not what to say." Jesus just ignored his statement. Peter's plan was not Jesus' plan.

However, since we are not given any information on whether Matthias was included in the 12 after Paul became an apostle, let's just say that there were 12 apostles to the Jews and 1 to the Gentiles. That far, we have scripture to back us up. Beyond that is really conjecture. Your point about New Jerusalem having the names of the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 Jewish apostles is well taken. I believe the patriarchs of the 12 tribes and the 12 apostles are the 24 elders of Rev. 4:4.

I consider all the Bible to be God's truth. That includes Paul's writings, also John, I John, II John, III John and The Revelation of Jesus Christ. It also includes I Peter, II Peter, James and Jude.

Mt. 22:36-42 says, "Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, Saying, WHAT THINK YE OF CHRIST? WHOSE SON IS HE?" I John 3:22,23 says, "whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And THIS IS HIS COMMANDMENT, That WE SHOULD BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, and LOVE ONE ANOTHER as he gave us commandment." John's message agrees with Jesus' words in Matthew.

Paul was not an egotist. I Cor. 15:9 says, "I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God." He spoke mainly to the Gentiles. Rom. 11:13 says, "I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I AM THE APOSTLE OF THE GENTILES." II Tim. 1:1 says, "I am appointed a preacher, and an APOSTLE, and a teacher of the GENTILES."

Paul had the proper credentials to be an apostle. He had seen Jesus, was called to be an apostle by Jesus, and was taught by Jesus. I Cor. 9:1says, "Am I not an apostle? am I not free? HAVE I NOT SEEN JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD? are not ye my work in the Lord?" II Cor. 1:1 says, "Paul, AN APOSTLE OF JESUS CHRIST BY THE WILL OF GOD." Gal. 1:1 says, "Paul, AN APOSTLE, (not of men, neither by man, but BY JESUS CHRIST, AND GOD THE FATHER, who raised him from the dead;)." I Tim. 1:1 says, "PAUL, AN APOSTLE OF JESUS CHRIST BY THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR, AND LORD JESUS CHRIST, which is our hope."...

> > Why do you keep quoting 2 Timothy 3:16? You seem to be using this verse to defend all of the New Testament as having been inspired by God.

Because ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God. That includes Genesis through Malachi and Matthew through Revelation, penned by John, the beloved apostle, the one whom Jesus loved, the one that was closest to Jesus at the last supper. Our Lord put his seal of approval on it for he inspired it, ALL of it, the Tanakh (OT) and the B'rit Hadashah (NT). At the end of the last book, The Revelation of Jesus Christ, (22:18-20), our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, YHVH of hosts, the Redeemer, said, "I TESTIFY UNTO EVERY MAN that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And IF ANY MAN SHALL TAKE AWAY FROM THE WORDS OF THE BOOK OF THIS PROPHECY, GOD SHALL TAKE AWAY HIS PART OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, AND OUT OF THE HOLY CITY, AND FROM THE THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen."

This is so serious, and I do not want you to miss the mark after coming such a long way. The Lord put his stamp of approval on Revelation, and JOHN wrote it down. Thus, the Lord put his stamp of approval on John. Thus, the Gospel of John, I John, II John and III John are to be believed. The Lord called Paul to do His will carrying the gospel to the Gentiles. We cannot afford to disregard John or Paul.

Our Lord of hosts says the same thing in the OT as in the NT. In Mk. 12:29, "Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord." In De. 6:4, he said, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD (YHVH) our God (Elohim) is one (echad, united) LORD (YHVH)." It is the same Lord speaking both times.

In Isa. 48:16-18, our LORD (YHVH), the Creator, the pre-incarnate Christ who has always dealt with man, said, "Come ye near unto me, HEAR YE THIS; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it (the beginning) was, there am I: and now (1) the Lord GOD, and (2) his Spirit, hath sent (3) ME. Thus saith the LORD (YHVH), THY REDEEMER, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD (YHVH) thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to MY COMMANDMENTS! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea." This is the same LORD that talked with Moses at Sinai.

Isa. 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHVH) the King of Israel, and HIS REDEEMER the LORD (YHVH) of hosts; I am the first, AND I am the last; and beside me there is no God."

His redeemer is the Son of God, the incarnate Christ. Prov. 30:4 asks, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME, if thou canst tell?"

His son's name is YESHUA, and YESHUA is the LORD (YHVH) of hosts. Psa. 2:12 says, "Kiss the SON, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. BLESSED ARE ALL THEY THAT PUT THEIR TRUST IN HIM." Trust in Him is faith in Him, and by faith we are saved.

Isa. 7:14 says, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Immanuel means God with us. It is exactly as II Cor. 5:19 says, "GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF." Paul was taught by Jesus Christ. He knew the truth. So did John. In John 1:1-3,14-17, he said, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made....And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John (the Baptist) bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."
