Where not to eat. For lunch today, 1-31-01, we went to New World Buffet, 10359 Magnolia Av, Riverside, CA., near Tyler Mall. It is chinese food. Fairly soon after Ed started to eat, he started having trouble, kind of choking and feeling sick at his stomach. On the way home, he put the seat back as far as he could, saying that he didn't feel good. When we got home, he didn't even feel like getting the mail. He automatically emptied his stomach as soon as he got in the house, and several times after that too. I called and told the lady about it and said I thought she should refund our money. She said their insurance would pay the hospital bill if he had to go to the hospital, but they would not refund our money. If you are in this area, don't eat there. The food in the buffet was cold and not tasty. We ate some then put it aside and tried the Mongolian Barbeque to try to get warm food. It wasn't good, either, and we love Mongolian Barbeque in Fullerton, Cerritos and Torrance. We couldn't even eat very much of the barbeque. Because of the foods I'm allergic to, we picked different things to put on our plates. I didn't enjoy my lunch, but I'm ok.If it is correct that Jesus was cruxified on 15.Nisan 3790 AM = 4.apr (greg) 30 AD, the pentecostal day was 6 Sivan 3790 = 24.may (greg) 30 AD = Julian Day (JD) 1.732.161. Making the time for the Church exactly 2000 years a 360 days period (the time for the Church will not be counted in jewish years but 360 days year (prophetic years). Add exactly 720.000 days to JD 1.732.161, and you are ending up in JD 2.452.161 equal to 20 Elul 5761 AM = 8.sept. 2001AD. Adding the 10 days of tribulation (ref. Smyrna), you will end up with 1. Tishri 5762 AM = 18.sept. 2001 = Feast of Trumpets = New Years day = Jesus birthday as the Rapture day. If you so add 2300 days to 8.sept. (20 Elul)= 1. tribulation date, you are ending up with Cristmas day 2007 =(inclusiv reckoning) = 25 dec. 2007 = JD 2.454.461. What do you think?
Sept. 18, 2001 will be Tishri 1, 5762. Tishri is the month of the former rain. Song of Sol. 2:10-14 says that the rain is over and gone. Therefore, I think the 3 feasts of Tishri (month of the former rain) and the 3 feasts of Nisan (month of the latter rain) are eliminated. Only Pentecost is left.
> > If it is correct that Jesus was cruxified on 15.Nisan 3790 AM = 4.apr (greg) 30 AD, the pentecostal day was 6 Sivan 3790 = 24.may (greg) 30 AD
I think he was crucified on Thursday, Nisan 13, and resurrected on Nisan 16 in 30 AD. He was crucified on "the preparation of the passover" (Jn. 19:14-16). He was 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the Earth. Mt. 12:40 says, "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." They are Thursday (day), Friday (night then day), Saturday, (night then day) and Sunday (night). The Resurrection was on Sunday. Adding 7 weeks, or 49 days, brings us to the 7th Sunday. Thus the 50th day, Pentecost, seems to have been on Monday in 30 AD. That day was Sivan 7. Pentecost is kept on Sivan 6 and 7.
Martin Anstey found an 82-year mistake in the era of the Persian Kings. Thus 536 - 82 = BC 454. Dan. 9's 483 years - 454 + 1 because there is no zero year = 30 AD. That was when the Messiah was to have been killed (Dan. 9:25,26), and he was. Therefore, I do not use 360-day years in figuring prophecy.
It is interesting that counting Palm Sunday, when Jesus presented himself as King and went to the temple, as day number 1, there were 40 years plus another 120 days to the burning of the temple in 70 AD. All those things were to fall on that generation (Mt. 23:36), and they did. Therefore, a generation seems to be 40 years plus another 120 days.
From June 7, 1967 (Iyar 28, 5727), when Israel regained the temple area, to Tishri 1, 5768 (the Feast of Trumpets) is 40 years plus another 120 days. All the things in Mt. 24:27-31 will, I think, come true that day. It will be Sept. 13, 2007. The Oslo Accords were signed Sept. 13, 1993. Add the 7 good years and the 7 bad years. It brings you to Sept. 13, 2007. The Oslo Accords were ratified in Israel 3 days later, on Tishri 1, 5754. Adding the 7 good and 7 bad years brings us to Tishri 1, 5768, which just happens to be Sept. 13, 2007. That smacks of something the Lord would plan.
I think the 1st day of the 2300-day Tribulation (Dan. 8:13,14), i.e., the 70th week of Dan. 9:27, will be the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost, Sivan 6, 5761 (May 28, 2001). The 2300th day would then be Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007). Agape
Please read the above url. It seems to confirm that WWIII is just before the Day of Wrath. What do you think?
...world war 3 can be shown to begin immediately after the middle of the end-times 7 year period, right after the abomination of desolation takes place. When I say proved conclusively, I mean without a doubt, without any equivocation! I will conclusively prove the point in this article...
Almost immediately after the abomination of desolation, Egypt will lead an alliance of Arab nations in attacking Israel to achieve their long-time objective of ridding the Middle East of Jews and creating a Palestinian nation in what is now Israel....Egypt and her Arab allies are called the King of the South in Daniel 11:40, and they will start the war because they have an ironclad treaty with Russia to join in the war once Egypt starts it....
Now, let me prove conclusively to you, that World War 3 starts immediately after the abomination of desolation in the middle of the end-times 7 year period! In both the Matthew 24 and Mark 13 versions of the Olivet Discourse, Jesus...revealed that something very important was to take place right after the abomination of desolation. Mark 13:14-20 But when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains...For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of creation which God created, until now, and never shall. And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect whom He chose, He shortened the days. That same corresponding text is Matthew 24:15-22, where that future period is called the Great Tribulation as opposed to the first half of the 7 year period which is called the Tribulation period. I know, you've read the above text and probably are saying that no world war is mentioned. I've started off with the obscure texts first, but you'll soon see that Jesus was obliquely referring to the coming world war 3 timeframe. The reason that Jesus said for those in Judea (modern Israel) to flee when the abomination of desolation takes place, is that there will quickly be an all-out attack upon Israel with armies many times the size of Israel's entire population....
***The shortening is between the 6th and 7th seals. The 6th seal is opened on the last day of this Age. The 7th is broken on the 1st day of the millennial DAY OF THE LORD. The reason those that know their Bibles are to flee Mid-Trib is because the False Prophet will try to kill all who will NOT bow down to his idol. He demonstrates that he will make good on his threat by killing Moses and Elijah right then.
Luke 21:20-24 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is at hand. Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are in the midst of the city depart, and let not those who are in the country enter the city; because these are the days of vengeance, in order that all things which are written may be fulfilled. Woe to those who nurse babes in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people, and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Many have interpreted the Luke passage above as applying to the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 AD, but the truth is that there is a future fulfillment. The disciples had asked two questions of Jesus, (1) when will the Temple be destroyed, and (2) what will be the signs when His return was about to take place? Jesus' answer took in the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, but the whole context is about events that will take place just before He returns to set up the kingdom of God on the earth. Notice that the same language is used in the Matthew, Mark, and Luke versions, where people in Judea are told to flee for the mountains, and woe to those who are pregnant or nursing babies. No one will argue that the text in Matthew and Mark are exclusively about the end-times 7 year period, but they argue about the text in Luke even though it uses the same language. Perhaps they are arguing to fit the scripture into their pre-conceived notions!...
***From Marilyn: Luke 21:20-24 is past history. Jerusalem WAS destroyed in 70 AD, the Jews WERE dispersed, and Jerusalem WAS trodden down of the Gentiles until the Six-Day War of 1967.
let's go on to the clear unarguable texts which prove the point. In Daniel 11:36-38, we are shown that the antichrist will falsely declare himself to be God, and will not honor any of the gods of the various religions. Then we are shown the attack which commences world war 3, after the text about the abomination of desolation. Daniel 11:40 And at the end time the king of the South will collide with him, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, with horsemen, and with many ships; and he will enter countries, overflow them, and pass through.
***Dan. 11:36-45 is talking about the False Prophet that rules during the Great Tribulation, the last 3.5 years of the Tribulation. Verse 36 says that he "shall PROSPER till the indignation (God's wrath) be accomplished" at the end of the 2300-day shortened Tribulation (Dan. 8:13,14). He comes to full power Mid-Trib. At "the time of the end" (v. 40), "shall the king of the south push at him (the False Prophet): and the king of the north shall come against him" (the False Prophet). It makes no sense to me that the False Prophet, who will subdue 3 kings (Dan. 7:8) and who will "PROSPER till the indignation be accomplished," would be attacked by the king of the north and the king of the south right after he takes the reins of world government Mid-Trib. Verse 45 shows that this war is not when he comes to power, but when HE SHALL COME TO HIS END."
***When he shall come to his end, "there shall be a time of trouble (the day of Jacob's trouble, the 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord), SUCH AS NEVER WAS SINCE THERE WAS A NATION EVEN TO THAT SAME TIME: AND AT THAT TIME (the 2300th day of the Tribulation) THY PEOPLE (Israel) SHALL BE DELIVERED, EVERY ONE THAT SHALL BE FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake" (Dan. 12:1,2). This is the day of both the Pre-Wrath Rapture and the Day of God's Wrath, the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord.
***Eze. 38:18-20 shows us the sequence of events that day. It says, "it shall come to pass AT THE SAME TIME when Gog (i.e., the united nations' army) shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that MY FURY SHALL COME UP IN MY FACE. For in my jealousy and in the fire of MY WRATH have I spoken, Surely IN THAT DAY (Day of God's Wrath) there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel (the mountain-sized asteroid impacts the Mediterranean Sea, Rev. 8:8; Zeph. 2:4,5); So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake (the worldwide earthquake of Rev. 16:18) at my presence (paneh, face, i.e., the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt. 24:30), and the mountains (asteroids of Rev. 8:8,10) shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and EVERY WALL shall fall to the ground." Civilization as we know it will be in shambles.
No one will argue that this scripture text is about world war 3, but many argue that Daniel 11:36-38 may not be talking about the abomination of desolation. Take a look at how the angel explained the events to Daniel. Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1290 days. The angel was referring back to the verses in Daniel 11:36-38, where a more explanatory version of the abomination of desolation was given. We know that the antichrist will stop the regular sacrifices in the soon to be built Jewish Temple, and perform the abomination of desolation. Clearly then, the start of world war 3 begins in Daniel 11:40, after the abomination of desolation.
***The abomination of desolation is Mid-Trib, when Satan is cast out of Heaven down to Earth, when the False Prophet becomes Satan-possessed and sits in the temple "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:4). Dan. 11:40-45 is talking a about events very near and right at THE END of the shortened Tribulation. This period ends with the False Prophet being deposed from office when the Wrath of God stops Gog's army that is invading Israel on the 2300th day of the Tribulation.
The next example is the clearest in scripture, where the entire book of Joel is about the Great Tribulation period and details the invasion of the king of the North into Israel. The identifying texts show that the book of Joel events occur after the sacrifices in the Jewish Temple are stopped (at the time of the abomination of desolation).
Joel 1:6 For a nation has invaded my land...Joel 1:9 The grain offering and the libation are cut off from the house of the Lord. The priests mourn, the ministers of the Lord. Joel 1:14 Gird yourselves with sackcloth, and lament O priests; wail O ministers of the altar! Come, spend the night in sackcloth, O ministers of my God, for the grain offering and the libation are withheld from the house of your God. Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! For the Day of the Lord is near, and it will come as destruction from the Almighty.
***The "grain offering and the libation (for the Feast of Trumpets, Lev. 23:37) are withheld from the house of your God" on the last day of this age. Mal. 2:3 says, "your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it." This Feast of Trumpets is the one that shall take them away with it. Amos 8:10 says, "I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day." Zech. 12:3 says, "in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth (the united nations' army) be gathered together against it." Zech. 12:10 says, "they shall look upon me (the LORD, YHVH) whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him (YHVAshua, Y'shua, Jesus), as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."
Joel 2:1 Blow a trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the Day of the Lord is coming; surely it is near. Joel 2:20 But I will remove the northern army far from you,....Joel 2:31 The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome Day of the Lord comes Joel 3:14-15 ... For the Day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon grow dark, and the stars lose their brightness.
Instead of splitting apart the concepts, I gave them all to you at once. The texts from Joel state that the time context is after the sacrifices in the Temple have been stopped. We know from other texts such as Daniel 12:11, that the antichrist will stop the sacrifices in the Temple and perform the abomination of desolation. So, the time frame in the book of Joel is after the sacrifices are stopped and before the Day of the Lord begins. Notice in Joel 1:15 above, that the timing is when the Day of the Lord is near, but hasn't come. Joel 2:1, likewise says that the timing is before the Day of the Lord. Another concept from the text above is that an army has invaded the nation of Israel (Joel 1:6), and that army is the northern army (Joel 2:20). The northern army is the king of the North from Daniel 11:40. Therefore, the scriptural texts confirm the scenario outlined at the beginning of this article, that world war 3 begins during the Great Tribulation period, before the Day of the Lord period.
***The army is Gog's united nations' army (Eze. 38). When they attack Israel, God's fury comes up in his face, and the asteroids impact Earth (v. 20). When Joel says that "the day of the LORD is AT HAND," it is the last day of this age, when the 6th seal is broken. At 6 PM, the Day of the Lord will begin. Rev. 6: 14-17 explains, "the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains (asteroids) and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the FACE (the Sign of the Son of Man of Eze. 38:20 and Mt. 24:30) of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the WRATH OF THE LAMB: For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME."
Another concept from the texts above is that the Day of the Lord period begins after the 6th Seal signs of Revelation 6:12-14, where the sun becomes black like sackcloth, and the moon became like blood. Notice that Joel 2:31 and Joel 3:14-15 both refer to the sun and moon becoming dark, and are the 6th Seal signs of Revelation 6. What is so significant, is that Joel 2:31 states that the 6th Seal signs occur before the Day of the Lord comes. The text from Joel 3:14-15, also states that when the 6th Seal signs occur, the Day of the Lord is near. Are there other scriptures that say the same thing? Take a look at the book of Matthew.
***The 6th seal is broken on the last day of this age. The 7th seal is opened the next day, the 1st day of the Millennium.
Matthew 24:29 But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the POWERS OF THE HEAVENS will be shaken,....take a look at...Mark 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the POWERS THAT ARE IN THE HEAVENS will be shaken. How clear do you want it? Without a doubt, the period up to the 6th Seal signs are called the tribulation of those days (made up of the Tribulation and Great Tribulation periods). We have two witnesses that state that immediately after the tribulation of those days the 6th Seal signs take place, and the two texts from the book of Joel that clearly state that the 6th Seal signs take place before the Day of the Lord begins!
***I disagree that "the period up to the 6th Seal signs are called the tribulation of those days (made up of the Tribulation and Great Tribulation periods)." Mt. 24:27-31 and Mark 13:24-27 all take place on one day, the last day of this age, when the Day of the Lord is so near, it starts at 6 PM. Luke 21:26,27 says of that day, "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." He will not arrive for 7 more months (Eze. 39:12,13), but they will see the Sign of the Son of Man on the last day of this age.
***Joel 2:1,2 says of the last day of this age, when the Feast of Trumpets begins the millennial Day of the Lord: "Blow ye the TRUMPET in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh (at 6 PM), for it is nigh at hand (6 PM is approaching; this age is ending and the Millennium beginning); A day of darkness and of gloominess (6th seal, Rev. 6:12), a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong (Gog's army); THERE HATH NOT BEEN EVER THE LIKE (never before, until the last day of this age), neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations." Before this DAY, there has "NOT BEEN EVER THE LIKE." It is not spread over the whole of the Great Tribulation, the attack comes on ONE DAY. Christ will stop the attack at noon (Zeph. 2:4,5) on the Feast of Trumpets.
If you read the book of Joel, you'll clearly see that the invasion of the northern army into Israel is over before the 6th Seal signs and before the Day of the Lord begins....
***It can't be over until the 2nd trumpet judgment, and that is after the 7th seal is opened on the 1st day of the Millennium. Rev. 8:8,9 says, "the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain (asteroid) burning with fire was cast into the sea (the Mediterranean): and the third part of the sea became blood: And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed." Zeph. 2:3-5 says, "Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid (i.e., Raptured) in the day of the LORD's anger. For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the NOON day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast." Job 20:23 says of the False Prophet, "When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of HIS WRATH upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating."
take a look at Ezekiel 30, with verses 1-9 about that same time period before the Day of the Lord begins. Ezekiel 30:3-5 For the Day of the Lord is near; it will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations. And a sword will come upon Egypt, and anguish will be in Ethiopia when the slain fall in Egypt, they take away her wealth, and her foundations are torn down. Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all Arabia, Libya, and the people of the land that is in league will fall with them by the sword. God our Father has placed clues like this throughout scripture, where it states that the Day of the Lord is near. That phrase sets the time frame for the prophecy. Notice that it talks of the same nations mentioned in Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, 39, and others....
***Eze. 30:2,3 says, "Howl ye, Woe worth THE DAY (one day)! For THE DAY is near (it is the next day), even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. And the sword shall come."
***The Sword of the LORD is the asteroid, a shard of Satan's planet (cherubim) Rahab that split apart. II Sam. 22:7-18 says, "In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. Then the EARTH SHOOK and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because HE WAS WROTH. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed (natah, cast down) the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. And HE RODE UPON A CHERUB (piece of the planet Rahab), and did fly: and he was seen (Sign of the Son of Man) upon the wings of the wind. And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies. Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled. The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice. And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them. And the channels of the sea appeared (one mountain sized piece of the asteroid hit the Mediterranean Sea), the foundations of the world were discovered (the "aster," larger asteroid, opens the bottomless pit [Rev. 9:1,2] and forms the Lake of Fire), at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. He sent from above, HE TOOK ME (i.e., the Pre-Wrath Rapture); he drew me out of many waters (nations, Rev. 17:15); He delivered (natsal, raptured, snatched away, caused to escape) me from my strong enemy (Gog's army), and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me."
Take a look at Ezekiel 32, which ties in the 6th Seal signs as occurring after Egypt is destroyed, and also tells us who decimates Egypt. Ezekiel 32:2 Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him,....Ezekiel 32:7 And when I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens, and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light. Ezekiel 32:11 For thus says the Lord God, "The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you." As in the Daniel 11:40 text, the above scripture is about the king of the South, Egypt. The time frame of the chapter is identified by the 6th Seal signs in Ezekiel 32:7, as the sun and the moon become dark. The alliance headed by the antichrist, the king of Babylon, will decimate the land of Egypt for their attack on the nation of Israel....
***Eze. 32:7 says, "when I (the LORD) shall put thee out." The False Prophet will be deposed and Egypt hurt so badly that no one will live there for the next 40 years. Eze. 29:11 says, "No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years."
...Other reference texts concerning our topic of world war 3 occurring in the Great Tribulation period are Isaiah 13, which discusses a war when the Day of the Lord is near.
***Isa. 13:3-13 says of the last day of this age and the first day of the Millennium: "I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for MINE ANGER, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations (Gog's united nations' army) gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation (the asteroids, Rev. 8:8,10), to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand (it comes at 6 PM); it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I WILL PUNISH THE WORLD FOR THEIR EVIL, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud (i.e., Satan) to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible (the False Prophet). I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place (from the asteroid impacts), in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in THE DAY OF HIS FIERCE ANGER."
***This takes place as this age ends and the Millennium begins. It is not spread out over the whole Great Tribulation. It starts on the last day of this age, not with the abomination of desolation when the False Prophet first comes to full power.
The book of Obadiah is entirely about the war during the Great Tribulation period, when the Day of the Lord is near....
***Obad. 1:12 says, "neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in THE DAY of their DESTRUCTION; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in THE DAY of distress." The Day of Destruction is the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord. When it says in v. 15, "the day of the LORD is near," it is the last day of this age. At 6 PM, the Day of the LORD arrives.
The scriptural references provide overwhelming evidence for the outlined scenario....
***Not to me. The overwhelming evidence points to the last day of this age and the first day of the Millennium. When scripture says that the day of the Lord is near, it means the last DAY of this age, not the whole Great Tribulation. At that point, the Day of the Lord is just hours away, not 3.5 years away.
