In a paper published in the March 1, 2001 issue of the American Geophysical Union's Journal of Geophysical Research, University of Iowa physics professor Louis A. Frank says that he has found new evidence to support his theory that the water in Earth's oceans arrived by way of small snow comets....
Frank reports that he obtained pictures of nine small comets among 1,500 images made between October 1998 and May 1999 using the Iowa Robotic Observatory (IRO) located near Sonoita, Ariz. In addition, he says that the possibility of the images being due to "noise," or electronic interference, on the telescope's video screens was eliminated by operating the telescope in such a manner as to ensure that real objects were recorded in the images....
Frank notes these images with the IRO confirm earlier reports of small comet detection using the ground-based Spacewatch Telescope during November 1987, January 1988 and April 1988.
The small comet theory, developed in 1986 with UI research scientist John Sigwarth from data gathered using the Dynamics Explorer 1 satellite, holds that about 20 snow comets weighing 20 to 40 tons each disintegrate in the Earth's atmosphere every minute. Over the lifetime of our planet, the comets would have accounted for virtually all of the Earth's water....In 1997, Frank revealed a series of photographs taken by Visible Imaging System (VIS) cameras designed by Frank and Sigwarth and carried aboard NASA's Polar spacecraft as further proof of the existence of the small snow comets....
Frank, a UI faculty member since 1964, has been an experimenter, co-investigator, or principal investigator for instruments on 42 spacecraft. His instruments include those used to observe the Earth's auroras, as well as those used to measure energetic charged particles and thin, electrically charged gases called plasmas. He is a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union and the American Physical Society, a member of the American Astronomical Society, American Association for the Advancement of Science and the International Academy of Astronautics, and a recipient of the National Space Act Award.
Interesting that Mr. Sharon is planning to visit Washington on March 20th as well. Song of Solomon 2:10 definitely applies to Spring, and Spring starts on the vernal equinox.

Note: Mt. 24:7 says, "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." We are seeing it come true.
However, when I had compared the angel with the 2nd trumpet in Rev. 8:8 -9 to the angel with the 2nd vial in Rev. 16:3, the 2nd trumpet judgement shows a THIRD PART of the sea becoming blood and a THIRD PART of the living creatures in the sea dying while the 2nd vial judgement being poured on the sea shows the sea becoming the blood of a dead man and EVERY LIVING SOUL in the sea dies. What I was thinking at the time was that EVERY LIVING SOUL in the sea dies (vial judgement) in the THIRD PART of the sea where the asteriod struck (trumpet judgement). If the vial judgement means EVERY LIVING SOUL in the sea dies, and it means in all the oceans all over the world (although it doesn't say seas), then I would think that the trumpet judgements and vial judgements would have to happen at two separate distinct times.
When the 3rd trumpet sounds in Rev. 8:10 a great star falls from heaven falls, and it falls on the third part of the rivers and upon the fountains of water while the 3rd vial judgement is poured out upon the rivers and the fountains of waters; and they became blood. You can see how they are similiar as both are being poured out on to rivers and fountains of waters which is why I thought they might happen at the same time. However, the 3rd trumpet judgement is when the star falls upon A THIRD PART of the rivers and upon the fountains of water while the 3rd vial judgement is poured out upon the rivers and fountains of waters. It didn't say the vial judgement was poured out on ALL rivers and fountains of waters on Earth which is another reason why I thought the 3rd trumpet and 3rd vial judgements happened at the same time. However, if this vial judgement is poured out on ALL rivers and fountains of waters on Earth, and they become blood, then this would have to happen prior to Jesus 2nd coming because how would mankind survive without water? 30 days? 40 days? I just thought I would clear up why I thought what I thought as we can all be mistaken at times. In Christ
Revelation seems to be constructed using circle clocks. To draw a circle clock diagram of the timing of Revelation, start out with a large circle that nearly fills an 8.5 x 8.5 page. Label it the 70th week of Daniel. Inside that outer circle, draw 6 circles in a ring that fill the space inside the 70th week of Daniel. Label them seals 1-6, then draw the middle circle that completes the clock. Inside that 7th seal circle, draw another complete circle clock. Label the outer circles trumpets 1-6. Then draw another circle clock inside the 7th trumpet circle. These are the 7 vials. Now you can label each 7th circle wherever you have room and draw a line to the correct circle.
Notice how the 7 trumpets come out of the 7th seal and the 7 vials come out of the 7th trumpet? This gets our thinking organized according to the intended chronology.
Since we are interested in the timing of the 7 vials, to get oriented, we need to first read the information given under the 7th trumpet to see what other events happen at this time. As we go through some scriptures, notice when God's Wrath is mentioned. It ties various accounts together.
Rev. 11:15-19 says, "the seventh angel sounded (the 7th trumpet); and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever (this is the 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord). And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art (on the 1st day of the Millennium), and wast (at the First Advent), and art to come (the 2nd Advent is still 7 months future, Eze. 39:12,13); because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged (at the Judgment Seat of Christ), and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; AND shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament (covenant, i.e., 2 stone tablets): and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."
Remember how Moses dashed the 2 stone tablets on the ground and broke them because the Israelites made an idol and were worshipping it? That was a type. Here, the 2 stone tablets are dumped on earth. They represent the 2 asteroids of Rev. 8:8,10. This is the worldwide earthquake when every wall shall fall (Eze. 38:20).
All 7 trumpet judgments happen in quick succession on one day, the 1st day of the 1000-year Day of the Lord. Rev. 6:14-17 shows this. After the 6th seal is broken, the Great Tribulation is shortened. The 7th seal will be broken the next day, the 1st day of the Millennium. Re: the last day of this age, Rev. 6:14-17 says, "the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne (the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt. 24:30), and from the wrath of the Lamb: For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; and who shall be able to stand?"
The Millennium has just begun at 6 PM on the last day of this age. Christ is crowned King of kings and Lord of lords in Heaven. The Marriage of the Lamb takes place. The Pre-Wrath Rapture takes place. Then Christ is seated as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ. While he is giving rewards to all the saints in Heaven, Unbelievers on Earth are receiving his wrath; the 2 asteroids impact Earth, causing the worldwide earthquake.
Just as Revelation has parenthetic portions to catch us up on necessary information, I must go back and tell you something else. I think Christ is seated as judge after the 7th seal is broken. There "was silence (out of respect) in heaven about the space of half an hour" (Rev. 8:1) while he was being installed and seated. Hab. 2:19,20 shows that there is silence on Earth too. It says, "Woe unto him (the False Prophet) that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it. But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him." At this point, the unbelievers on Earth probably know the asteroids are coming. Out of fear and astonishment, soon men will put their hands on their stomachs as if they were a woman in labor.
Isa. 21:3-9 says, "Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it. My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me...thus hath the LORD said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth. And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed: And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights: And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground."
Back to the vials. Rev. 16:1 says, "I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out THE VIALS OF THE WRATH OF GOD upon the earth." See how the 7 vials come out of the 7th trumpet? They are tied together by mention of the wrath of God. The 7 trumpet judgments are the immediate effects of the wrath of God. The 7 vials are the effects after a bit more time has rolled by. Where 1/3rd of the life in the Mediterranean Sea was killed immediately when the "great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea" (Rev. 8:9), "every living soul died in the sea" when a little more time had gone by, when the 2nd vial was poured out (Rev. 16:3).
Understanding that the vials come out of the 7th trumpet gets us oriented so that we can see the march of time in these accounts.

This morning the Jerusalem Post in reporting the qualifications of the Sharon cabinet concluded that it is the largest and most intelligent and capable cabinet Israel has ever had....
Ephraem's text shows a literal method of interpreting scripture and teaches the pre-millennial return of Christ. It reveals a clear statement about the Lord returning before the tribulation to take his elect saints home to be with him to escape the coming tribulation. "For all the saints and elect of God are gathered prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins."
In addition Ephraem declares his belief in a personal Antichrist who will rule the Roman Empire during the last days, a rebuilt Temple, the two witnesses and a literal Great Tribulation: "And there will be a great tribulation, as there has not been since people began to be on earth...and no one is able to sell or buy of the grain of the harvest, unless he is the one who has the serpentine sign on the forehead or the hand. And when the three and a half years have been completed, the time of the Antichrist, through which he will have seduced the world, after the resurrection of the two prophets, in the hour which the world does not know and on the day which the enemy or the son of perdition does not know, will come the sign of the Son of Man, and coming forward the Lord shall appear with great power and much majesty, with the sign of salvation going before him, and also even with all the powers of the heavens with the whole chorus of the saints". So the teaching that the second coming is in two stages was not unknown to the early church.
...the literal understanding of the prophecies demands that there is a time gap between the first and second stage of the second coming of Christ. The first stage, the rapture of the church happens unexpectedly, as a thief in the night. Even from the point of view of the writers of the New Testament it could happen at any time: "You also be patient, brethren. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand." (James 5.8) See also 1 Corinthains 1.7, 16.22, 1 Thessalonians 1.10, Titus 2.13, Hebrews 9.28, James 5.7-9, 1 Peter 1.13, Jude 21, Revelation 3.11, 22.7, 12, 17, 20. If the rule of Antichrist, The Great Tribulation and the Mark of the Beast system had to come first it would be impossible for Christ to come at any time as was the expectation of the early Christians.
Expecting Jesus to come at any time means that we as believers should keep our lives in continual readiness for this event as John taught in his epistle: We know that when he is revealed, we shall be like him because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. 1 John 3.2-3.
This is also a tremendous hope for those who are suffering in this body: For our citizenship is in heaven from which we eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to his glorious body....The Lord is at hand. Philippians 3.20, 4.5
In view of this our response should be to make sure that we are ready for the rapture of the church by repenting of our sins and believing in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus to save us from the wrath to come.
Tony Pearce's article led me to take a look at these verses. James 5.7-9 is for "the last days" (v. 3). It says, "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early (fall rain of Tishri) and latter rain (spring rain of Nisan). Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door." When Christ is at the door, Rev. 4:1 is also nigh. Heaven's door-opening is nigh. The next feast after the feasts of Nisan (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits) is Pentecost.
I Peter 1:13 says, "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the GRACE that is to be BROUGHT unto you at THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST." Christ is revealed to us at the Rapture. He will bring us grace at the Rapture. This ties in with Rev. 22:12. It says, "behold, I come quickly (at the Rapture); and my REWARD is with me, to give every man according as his WORK shall be." Verse 14 says, "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may ENTER IN THROUGH THE GATES (doors, i.e., 2 Raptures) into the city" (New Jerusalem). In Revelation, between the 6th and 7th seals, the 6th and 7th trumpets and the 6th and 7th vials are parenthetic passages. This is probably because the Tribulation/ends of the ages is a parenthetic portion added between the 6th and 7th millenniums. The section from Rev. 10:1 through 11:13 does not actually happen between the 6th and 7th trumpets.
Rev. 8:7 is the first trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets that begins the millennial Day of the Lord. I think that is the 2300th day (Dan. 8:13,14) of the Tribulation (Tishri 1, 5768; Sept. 13, 2007). Rev. 11:19 is also on that same day. As you pointed out, "hail" ties these two verses together. They happen on the same day. The 4 trumpet judgments of Rev. 8 happen on the same day as the 7th trumpet judgment of Rev. 11:15-19.
We have to look for "match marks" to see where Rev. 11 belongs. Our first clue is in 10:11. John must "PROPHESY AGAIN." Rev. 11 starts off back at the beginning of the Tribulation to fill us in on something not included before, the ministry of the two witnesses. It is during the 1st half of the Tribulation that it doesn't rain. That is what causes the famine of Rev. 6:5,6, when the Beast rides forth on the black horse.
The two witnesses prophesy 1260 days, "And when they shall have FINISHED their testimony, the beast (Satan) that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them." Satan is cast out of Heaven "into the earth" (Rev. 12:9) Mid-Trib. He comes up and possesses the False Prophet. Then the Satan possessed False Prophet goes to the temple to "shew himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:4). Moses and Elijah are probably teaching in the temple. They refuse to bow down to the False Prophet or his image. Therefore, he kills them.
Sacrificing stops when the abomination of desolation (idol) is placed at the temple. The Messianic Jews that know their Bibles flee to the wilderness, "where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time (3.5 yrs, 1260 days), from the face of the serpent" (Rev. 12:6,14). This 1260 days is the Great Tribulation, the part that is to be shortened between the 6th and 7th seals.
This second 1260 days is shortened to 1040. Dan. 8:13,14 says, "How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice (they sacrifice the 1st 1260 days), and the transgression of desolation (Mid-Trib), to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot (during the Great Tribulation)? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed" (2300 - 1260 = 1040).

All 7 trumpets sound on the first day of the Millennium, the Day of God's Wrath, which is the 2300th day of the Tribulation. It is 1040 days after Moses and Elijah FINISH prophesying. When they are killed, the Great Tribulation starts. Moses and Elijah are saints. No saint will be left on Earth to go through the Wrath of God. That judgment is poured out on unbelievers. The two witnesses have to be caught up to Heaven before the Day of God's Wrath comes on the 2300th day of the Tribulation. Agape
