After that, I heard of 2 others who saw the end of the rainbow. One was in S. Africa. It shown on a boy landing a small plane after finishing his first solo flight. His mother saw it too.
A man in western Canada was riding in a van. Three of them were in the front seat. He was next to the R. door. The end of the rainbow came in through the window and shined on him.
Now you had a miraculous experience too. Wonderful. You won't ever forget it will you? God calls the rainbow his bow. Gen. 9:13 says, "I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth." These seem like something rare or new. They do remind us of his covenant. Gen. 9:11 says, "I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth."
To me, these rainbows demonstrate that God is at work on this Earth. The wind, the sea, and yes, the rainbows obey him...Agape
In Hosea 5:14,15, Christ says, "I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and AS A YOUNG LION to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear (taraph, pluck off) and go away; I WILL TAKE AWAY (NASA, lift up, carry off, to take, to MARRY, i.e., to catch up the Bride group at the Pre-Trib Rapture), and none shall rescue him. I will go AND RETURN TO MY PLACE (Heaven), till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction (day of Jacob's trouble) they will seek me early." Agape
According to Deuteronomy 16:1 the sole criterion for determining the beginning of the new Biblical year is the barley harvest in Jerusalem. Biblical scholars, both Jewish and Christian, have known for many years that the current Hebrew calendar and our western calendar are off by varying degrees. Scholars who have been working for a long time to re-discover God's original calendar are quite excited this year. The barley harvest in Jerusalem was determined to be "aviv" (matured and ready for harvest) on March 26, 2001, making that day the first of Aviv, the first of the new biblical year.
Since Israel has been in a drought condition for several years and the barley harvest has not been matured until much later throughout that time, it is considered highly significant (even supernatural) that the barley matured this early in 2001 especially since there has been NO SIGNIFICANT INCREASE in the rainfall and Israel is still in drought conditions. This unusually early maturing of the barley harvest sent scholars to their computers for careful and involved calculations. What they discovered is that by determining March 26 as Aviv 1 of the Hebrew year 5761, and adjusting the calendar accordingly, the feasts of Passover and Purim coincide this year on the same day, TODAY, April 9. The scholars agree that ONLY in a year when the barley matures early enough can we have the biblical coinciding of these two very important prophetic feasts which relate to Israel's redemption and deliverance from her enemies; described in other words as "two witnesses" of the imminent arrival of the Messiah. In the process of adjusting the calendar to the Biblical year, they also discovered that Sept. 13, 1993, the day the Oslo accord was signed in Washington by Rabin and Arafat was truly Tishri 1 and the day the recent violence began in Jerusalem, Sept. 28, 2001, was also Tishri 1, providing what Jewish commentators consider an EXACT seven year period which they suggest fulfilles the prophecy in Isaiah 28 about a "covenant of death" which Is. 28: 18 says will be annulled. In this context, reading the entire 28th chapter of Isaiah is very interesting and thought provoking.
Lastly the scholars involved in this research stated that on Aviv 1, three things simultaneously occurred: the New Moon, the Maturing of the Barley crop and the alignment of seven planets in the form of a Menorah. According to the law of "two or three witnesses" and the Messianic hope that includes "signs in the heavens", they conclude that all of these events point to the soon appearance of Messiah ben David, Messiah, the Son of David.
While all of this is extremely fascinating, the bottom line is this: Are we eager and ready for the appearance of the Messiah? Are we longing for Him? Is your heart hungry for His presence? For after all, when the studying and research is done, the final and most important question is always this one: What is the condition of our heart toward God?

In the past, I had a virus on my first Mac, got it from an Apple dealer with some fonts that my used LaserWriter printer needed me to use to get it going and to typeset my books. I gave that virus to my daughter on disks when Ed gave her his Mac. It turned out to be on just about every floppy disk I had. Recently, she got a virus on her PC, got rid of it, got on the Internet again and got another virus before she could DL the latest MacAfee data. She finally bought a new computer to get rid of it. It ate her drivers. Now, my Grandson has gotten a virus on his PC that opened doors all over his screen and then shut down his computer. Several times, viruses have come in on my email on this PC, one from someone I correspond with frequently. It went to all the addresses in her address book and even sent a follow-up "virus fix" that I think was a virus. So far, I have been wary enough to discard them, but just about tremble when I open an attachment. I wish I never had to open one. Some things I would probably like to see get discarded, just in case.
I thought it was the 1st Beast that seats himself in the Temple and declares himself to be God. However, if the False Prophet as you claim is sitting in the Temple declaring himself to be God, why would the False Prophet have everyone "make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live"(Rev. 13:14) for everyone to worship? If I was God, I want them to make an image of me and not someone else. The people are going to worship this image of the beast (1st beast) who had the wound by the sword and did live because it shows in Rev. 13:15 that the False Prophet will "cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." It seems kind of strange to me that the False Prophet then declares himself to be God after he had everyone worshipping the image of the 1st beast. If the False Prophet has everyone worshipping the image of the first beast during the first 1260 days of the tribulation period when you say that the 1st beast is reigning, doesn't that mean the mark of the beast will be implemented during the first 1260 days? What will the 1st Beast being doing for the next 1040 days after which he is thrown alive into the lake of fire along with the False Prophet (Rev. 19:20)?? You also said that the False Prophet is the one that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit, but doesn't the Bible show the opposite? Rev. 13:1 says, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw A BEAST rise up out of the sea, having SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy." Then this same beast is seen in Rev. 17:7-9, "And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the WOMAN, and of the BEAST that CARRIETH HER, WHICH HATH THE SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS. THE BEAST (same beast) that thou sawest was, and is not: AND SHALL ASCEND OUT OF THE BOTTOMLESS PIT, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold THE BEAST that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom, THE SEVEN HEADS are seven mountains, ON WHICH THE WOMAN SITTETH. And there are seven kings; five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come, and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And THE BEAST (1st Beast) that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. AND THE TEN HORNS (same beast which is the 1st beast that we started out with in Rev. 17:7 with ten horns and seven heads) which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with THE BEAST. It appears to me from these last sentences about the TEN HORNS on the 1st beast with ten horns (and seven heads) are the ten kings who will be here at Christ's second coming because THESE SHALL MAKE WAR WITH THE LAMB." This entire passage appears to be about the 1st Beast who ascends out of the Bottomless Pit and out of the sea, and not the False Prophet. Also I looked up Abyss in my New Bible dictionary, and it says, The Greek word abyssos (bottomless {pit} deep) In Genesis 1:2 it refers to 'deep place' as 'abyss' with reference to the primitive idea of a vast mass of water on which the world floated, or to the underworld." I once listened to a video tape of Perry Stone's who said that the bottomless pit was located in the sea. In Christ
Probably mainly because God is in control, and He brings his prophecies to pass. Rev. 13:2-4 says, "the dragon (great red dragon, i.e.,Satan) gave him (the 1st beast) his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads (the 6th) as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast (Tribulation Pope). And they worshipped the dragon (Satan) which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast" (Trib. Pope).
Attalus III had willed Pergamos ("where Satan's seat is," Rev. 2:13) to Rome upon his death. Therefore Satan's seat of the Pontifex Maximus (high priest) of the Babylonian Mystery Religion ended up in Rome. All the heads of the great red dragon in Rev. 17:10 had the title "Pontifex Maximus."
In Rev. 13:7, "it was given unto him (the Trib. Pope) over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." Also, unbelievers of all the earth worship him (v. 8). Therefore, I take it that he is head over the OWG (One World Gov't) and the UR (United Religions).
Maybe the wound with the sword incapacitates the Trib. Pope long enough for the False Prophet to pull off his coup. By some means, the False Prophet takes over as head of the OWG and UR Mid-Trib. He also subdues 3 of the 10 subordinate kings (Dan. 7:24). He does miracles "in the sight of the beast" and has the image of the 1st beast, "which had the wound by a sword, and did live" (13:14) made. I am guessing, but his motive could be to pacify the first beast. After all, he did wrest control away from him.
Dan. 8:31 says of Mid-Trib, "arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate."
The 2nd beast of Rev. 13 "exerciseth all the power of the first beast," so I take it that he is Pope too.

The False Prophet has them worshiping the image during the last half of the Tribulation that is the Great Tribulation. The mark of the beast is during the Great Tribulation too.

I don't know. Both beasts will not be thrown into the Lake of Fire on the 1040th day. It will be after Armageddon, which breaks out after Christ takes dominion away from Satan at the end of the full 7 years.

If I did, I goofed. I know that it is Satan that ascends out of the bottomless pit. In Rev. 12:9, Satan is "cast out into the earth." In Rev. 17:8, it is Satan that "was (in Judas Iscariot), and is not (in man at the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture); and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit (and enter into the False Prophet), and go into perdition."

I don't think either of the beasts of Rev. 13 will ascend out of the bottomless pit. It seems that 3 of the 10 kings are replaced since there are 10 that war against Christ. Dan. 7:20-22 says, "of the ten horns that were in his head (6th head, the Beast), and of the other (7th head, False Prophet) which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows (the Satan-possessed False Prophet). I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days (Christ) came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom."

I doubt it because smoke will go up from it forever. Isa. 34:8-10 says, "it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever." I think the star (aster) that impacts Earth and destroys Babylon will form the Lake of Fire when it opens the bottomless pit. Rev. 9:2 says, "he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit." That sounds to me like it impacts on land. Agape
I read that this refers to a Revised Roman Nation or some world system; but also read that this refers to the antichrist.
I tend to believe that it is the antichrist and that the kings refer to specific ceasars of Rome. (Mystery, Babylon sitting on seven mountains)
At the time that the Revelation was given to John; the beast/king was and is not, meaning that he already lived and now was dead at that time. Sometime in the future this dead beast/king would arise from the bottomless pit and would become the eighth king (the antichrist).
To be sure, this resurrected beast/king would not be the original person, but a Satan-filled copy of the original. Nero (as a copy) who persecuted the Jews and the Christians could come back to be the antichrist. His name adds up to 666.
I think that this refers to a person because: He ascends from the bottomless pit and then goes into perdition.I don't think that a nation or world system does that.
People are looking for someone born recently to be the antichrist, but maybe he will be from the bottomless pit instead. If they ever find Nero's grave and they show it being opened on TV be sure to watch.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ is when he is revealed to us at the Pre-Trib Rapture. The last book in the Bible is written as if the Rapture was at hand, maybe on Ascension Day 10 days before Pentecost (Rev. 2:10). The Rapture is "at hand" in both the first and last chapters (1:3; 22:10). Jesus signs off with "Surely I come quickly." He comes quickly at the Rapture.
Rev. 2:5 says, "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee QUICKLY, and will REMOVE thy candlestick (CHURCH, 1:20) out of HIS PLACE (Heaven, John 14:2), except thou REPENT." Rev. 3:11 says to the Philadelphians before whom the "open door" is set, "Behold, I come QUICKLY: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." Notice the difference in instructions? The former church has to repent. The latter one does not. They already have. The former one does not have the "open door" set before them. They "art fallen" and have to repent. If they confess their known sins to God, he will cleanse them of all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). It seems that they will then become Philadelphians before whom the "open door" is set.
Rev. 17 is written as if the Rapture had just happened. Those "that ARE with him (Christ) ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL." At that time, the beast (SATAN) was (in Judas Iscariot), and is not (is not in man at the time of the Rapture); and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit" (and go into the False Prophet Mid-Trib). Only Judas Iscariot and the False Prophet are said to be sons of perdition.
John 17:12 says, "While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the SON OF PERDITION (Judas Iscariot); that the scripture might be fulfilled." II Thess. 2:3 says, "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (millennial Day of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away (apostasia, departing, as in apostacion, divorcement, i.e., the Pre-Trib Rapture) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the SON OF PERDITION" (the False Prophet).
Mid-Trib, Satan is "cast out INTO the earth" (12:9). He comes up out of the bottomless pit and enters into the False Prophet, who rules over the OWG (One World Gov't) and the UR (United Religions) for 1040 days (Dan. 8:13,14's 2300 - 1260 = 1040). The 2300th day of the Tribulation is, I think, the 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord, Coronation Day, day of the Marriage of the Lamb and the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven. On Earth, it is the Day of God's Wrath (Rev. 6:17). The False Prophet is deposed. Satan comes out of him and operates on his own as the "eighth" until the full 7 years (2520 days) end. At that time, the Judgment of the Nations will take place. Dominion will be taken from Satan. He will put up a fight. Armageddon is his last-ditch stand. After that is over, he will be chained.
Rev. 17:10's five kingdoms that have fallen and upon which the Mystery Religion of Babylon sits are (1) Babel, (2) Babylon, (3) Media-Persia, (4) Greece and (5) Rome. At the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture, the king that "IS" is the Pope. He is over Ecclesiastical Rome and as The Beast, seems to be elected head of the OWG and the UR. The Tribulation Pope is the 6th king. The False Prophet is the 7th. Satan is the "eighth."
All the kings of these 7 empires bear the "name of blasphemy" (Rev. 13:1), Pontifex Maximus, the high priest. Christ is our High Priest. Heb. 6:20 says, "Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec."

At the time of the Rapture, "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" (Rev. 17:5) is in Vatican City, "that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the Earth" (Rev. 17:18). During the Tribulation, it will be moved to Babylon on the Euphrates River in Iraq. Agape
If the 144,000 who are sealed are still in the wilderness while the five month Scorpion judgement is taking place as they must stay in the wilderness for 1260 days, then that would mean whoever is cleansing the land of Israel for 7 months while the 5 months of Scorpion judgements are taking place are getting tormented by scorpions since the 144,000 are the only ones that are sealed and protected from these scorpions. At least that's how I see it. In Christ
I don't think it spells it out in Revelation, but the great multitude of believers in Rev. 7:9,14 would be sealed too, as we are sealed until the day of redemption. Eph. 1:13,14 says, "Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." I think the lamps of the 10 virgins represent our sealing when we first accept Christ as our own personal Saviour too.
We know from Rev. 14:3 that the 144,000 are caught up to Heaven. They "were redeemed FROM the Earth." I think they are added to the Bride group. Rev. 14:4,5 tells us that "they are virgins," "firstfruits," and "without fault before the throne of God."

The 144,000 are caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Wrath Rapture BEFORE God's wrath is poured out on unbelievers. The second 1260 days is shortened to 1040 (2300 - 1260 = 1040) for BELIEVERS, not unbelievers. The Pre-Wrath Rapture of Rev. 7:14 takes place between the breaking of the 6th (Rev. 6:12) and 7th seals (Rev. 8). The trumpet judgments come out of the 7th seal after the 144,000 and the great multitude are in Heaven. Agape
This third will bury the dead to cleanse the land for the return of Christ. They will live on Earth in the Millennium. Agape
