ISRAEL ENDS CEASEFIRE: PREPARES TO LAUNCH MILITARY STRIKES: http://www.jvim.com/cgi-bin/update.cgiThe groups in the Islamic and Nationalist Forces include Hamas and another hardline organisation, Islamic Jihad, as well as Arafat's Fatah movement. Officials of all three stressed they were prepared for further confrontation with the Israelis.
A joint statement issued after the meeting stressed that "the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves against aggression, occupation and colonisation and to continue the intifada, is one of their legitimate rights."...
Israeli minister without portfolio Danny Naveh told public television Israel was giving Arafat "one or two days" to prove the ceasefire would work on the ground.
In Cairo, Arab League secretary general Amr Mussa said Sunday that the Palestinian uprising will continue until the Israeli occupation ends, despite the ceasefire.
"It is an uprising against occupation and it will continue as long as the situation remains the way it is, because frustration and revolt against occupation continue," Mussa told journalists who asked whether Arafat could stop violence.

Israel Calls Off Policy of Restraint, By Dan Perry
6-2-01 AP - TEL AVIV –– Israel called off its self-declared policy of restraint Saturday, just hours after a suicide bomber killed 17 (later 20) young Israelis and wounded 90 outside a Tel Aviv disco in the bloodiest terror attack in five years....
Israel also informed Arafat that he was barred from using the international airport in the Gaza Strip, meaning he cannot return from the West Bank to his headquarters in Gaza, Palestinian security officials said.
Arafat has formed a "coalition of terrorism" in the areas under his control, the Cabinet said in the harshest condemnation of the Palestinian leader in eight months of fighting.
In the West Bank town of Ramallah, Arafat said he was ready to work for an "immediate and unconditional cease-fire," but did not say what steps he was prepared to take.

New UN resolution promotes religious tolerance, By Melissa Radler
UNITED NATIONS (June 3) - The UN General Assembly passed a resolution Thursday urging governments to promote religious tolerance and condemn all threats of violence, destruction, or damage to religious sites.
The resolution, authored by UN representatives from Austria and Hungary and co-sponsored by 150 nations, was spearheaded by Appeal of Conscience Foundation president Rabbi Arthur Schneier.
Verse4"....but the just shall live by his faith." Let us Glorify The Most High God Our Maker and Our Husband. Maranatha.
It sure could be a sign. It is there for some good reason. Winter was past, as in Song of Solomon 2:11. Castor represents the Bride and Pollux represents the Bridegroom. They are sitting on the ecliptic, and Heaven travels the ecliptic. Eph. 2:6 says that he "hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."
Gemini is the sign from May 21 through June 21. That could be a window of opportunity. June 21 is the first day of summer. Mt. 24:32,33 says, "summer is nigh" when the Rapture is "near, even at the doors." June 7 is the anniversary of Israel's regaining the temple area in the Six-Day War of 1967. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, so there could be a connection. 2001 - 1967 = 34 years. Hmmm. Jesus was 33.5 when he ascended. In round numbers, about 34 years. Agape
Its interesting!
Maybe God is ALLOWING the tarrying so folks will say Yah, see, we got lots of time; He isn't coming right now. They might fall asleep. God Bless
Sometime prior to Pentecost, 1998, Dr. Tabor said that 2300 days also fit between 2 feasts, maybe starting at Trumpets. I can't remember. If it did, how would you make Trumpets fit the Pre-Trib Rapture? How would you make another feast instead of Trumpets fit the Day of God's Wrath, the 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord? Joel 1:15; 2:1 says, "Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come....Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand."
> > Maybe God is ALLOWING the tarrying so folks will say Yah, see, we got lots of time; He isn't coming right now. They might fall asleep
That seems to be the reason. Mt. 25:5 says, "While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept." Agape
In the Preview of the Rapture in Rev. 1, Christ speaks in v. 8, saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, WHICH IS (at the Rapture), and WHICH WAS (at the First Advent), and WHICH IS TO COME (at the Second Advent), the Almighty."
Verse 13 shows that the 7 candlesticks are around the glorified Christ in Heaven. Those 7 candlesticks "ARE the seven churches" (v. 20). In v. 19, John is told to "Write the things which thou HAST SEEN (before the Rapture), and the things WHICH ARE (at the Rapture), and the things WHICH SHALL BE HEREAFTER" (after the Rapture).
After Jesus' assessment of the state of the churches when the Rapture is at hand, the Rapture takes place in Rev. 4:1. Christ's voice like a trumpet (that was heard by 5000 at the First Advent without amplification) says, "Come up hither, and I will show thee things WHICH MUST BE HEREAFTER" (the Rapture). In Rev. 5:9,10, we see the raptured elders (12 patriarchs and 12 apostles, all of Israel) and the saints in Heaven. The saints are "out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation," not just out of Israel. They have already been "made unto our God kings and priests."
When the Tribulation starts, the Beast (Tribulation Pope) immediately blasphemes Christ's "name, and his tabernacle (dwelling place), and them that dwell in heaven." This "MUST BE HEREAFTER" the Rapture.
The dead in Christ are in Heaven with the Lord now, but Rev. 13:6 is "hereafter" the Rapture. Job 5:24 says, "thou shalt know that thy tabernacle (dwelling) shall be in peace; and thou shalt VISIT THY HABITATION, and shalt not sin." I don't know what else they are doing now. Agape
What prophesied events have ever occurred on an anniversary date of a previously prophesied event?
I see no consistent pattern for that scenario to make a prediction for an occurrence of parallel anniversary dates.
There seems to be a pattern in the Word and Revelations that introduces new events at different times.
It would seem to make better sense for God to create a new celebration date than to celebrate multiple events on the same anniversary. This would dilute the meaning and focus of the celebration.
I believe God has appointed a celebrateable event for each day starting at original creation and no day is like the day before or will ever be. God is not a God of confusion concerning his will for us. The revealing of his complete will for us would be too overwhelming. Agape Love
How about both temples being burned on the same day and month on the Jewish Calendar?
Job 8:8-10 says, "For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers. (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a SHADOW:) Shall not THEY TEACH THEE, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?"
I Cor. 10:11 says, "Now all these things happened unto them (Israel) for ENSAMPLES: and THEY ARE WRITTEN FOR OUR ADMONITION, UPON WHOM THE ENDS (plural) OF THE WORLD (ages) ARE COME." I think the Tribulation is the ends (plural) of all 3 ages, the 2000-year Age of the Gentiles, the 2000-year Age of the Jews, and the 2000-year Age of the Church.
> > It would seem to make better sense for God to create a new celebration date than to celebrate multiple events on the same anniversary. This would dilute the meaning and focus of the celebration.
The Lord planned everything before this kosmos started to operate. Isa. 46:9,10 says, "REMEMBER THE FORMER THINGS OF OLD: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure." He tells us things before they come to pass.
We should leave no stone unturned in our search for God's hidden secrets. Prov. 2:3-5 says, "Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God."
In Mark 13:23, Jesus said, "But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things."All the clues we need are there for us to find. Amos 3:7 says, "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." Agape
I'm ready too, but I know that the Lord has the perfect time planned. I wouldn't change that for anything, even if I could. I'd rather be patient and watch, leaving it in his capable hands. Watching new developments is exciting. We have a ringside seat on events leading up to the Tribulation. The Internet brings us the news right away. We will be out of here in due time, and our patient enduring will be rewarded. Agape
I've been visiting your site on a daily basis since I first found it, about a year ago, and it has greatly blessed my heart! I, too, am eagerly waiting for Our Lord Jesus to come and "Snatch us away" in the twinkling of an eye. I know it will be very soon!
I'm 73 yrs. old and only his promises made me fell young in my heart again, because I know He loves me for all eternity! Thank you so much for keeping us so well informed of all these events that will soon lead to the coming of Our Lord for his bride. God bless you and continue to give you the strength and spiritual clarity to go on with your beautiful work!
(excuse me if my English is not very clear, but it's not my first language!) Sincerely
I appreciate your kind words. You expressed yourself very well, even if English is your second language.
I will be 73 in December, Ed is 77. Because of his stroke, he is slow moving his feet. He also has cataracts in both eyes, so he doesn't drive anymore. I told him I bet he was glad he married someone a little younger than himself so I can drive him wherever he want to go. He laughed and nodded. New bodies will be much appreciated. Agape
Maybe as you posted on your home page - will be the final call.
"I sought him, but I found him not. The watchmen who go their rounds in the city found me. I said, Have ye seen him whom my soul loves? IT WAS AS A LITTLE WHILE AFTER I PARTED FROM THEM, THAT I FOUND HIM whom my soul loves." Song of Sol. 3:4 (LXX).
Trust Ed is doing better and you as well. Keep posting - regardless. In Him
Titus 2:12-14 says, "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that BLESSED HOPE, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."
Ed is ok. We went walking today. It is slow going, but he does what he can. Agape
To me, a Jubilee cycle is a 49-year cycle. The 50th year is also the 1st of the new cycle. Thus, the Sabbatic Years and the Jubilee stay aligned. A 94-year Jubilee period doesn't make sense in my head. I don't go by the Jubilee Calendar.
I marked Isa. 57:1-6 (DSSB) as interesting. It says, "And the righteous person perishes, but no one takes it to heart; devout people are taken away (raptured), while none understands that THE RIGHTEOUS ARE TAKEN AWAY FROM CALAMITY (the Tribulation). And he enters into peace, and they will rest on his couches, each one walking in her uprightness. But as for you--come here, you children of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes! Whom are you mocking? And against whom to you make a wide mouth and stick out your tongue? Are you not children of transgression, the offspring of lies, You who burn with lust among the oaks, under every spreading tree, who slaughter your children in the ravines, under the clefts of the rocks? Among the smooth stones of the RAVINES is your portion." The KJV says, "Among the smooth stones of the STREAM is thy portion."
"Nachal" can mean either ravine or stream. This seems to be as when David killed Goliath with a water-washed rock from a brook. The reality on the 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord will be an asteroid destroying Babylon (Rev. 8:10; 18:21). Agape
Benjamin Hartman. Christian.edu ...This papyrus text seems to provide genuine proof that at least the Gospel of Matthew was indeed an eyewitness account, written by a disciple of Jesus who lived during the days Christ Himself was on earth....
Prof. Casten Peter Thiede, a well-known papyrologist, found these scraps while studying the archives of past findings at Magdalen College in Oxford, England. The texts were originally found in Egypt and were written on papyrus, a plant found along the Nile which was commonly used as stationery in the first century A.D.
Intrigued, he instituted an extensive study of the papyri and consulted with other scholars. "It soon became clear," says Prof. Mazar, "that here was a revolutionary discovery which may be considered equal to the finding of the original Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947."...
"Additionally," says the archaeologist, "scholars were assisted with the dating of these fragments by the discovery of other small fragments written in the very same style. These are now kept at the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, France."
Both the Oxford and Paris fragments were acquired in Egypt. "This is significant," says Cohen, "because among the Paris fragments was one dated document dealing with a business transaction. A farmer named Harmiysis appeals to the Roman authorities in his town in Upper Egypt for a permit to add seven more lambs to his herd." The farmer proclaims: "I declare, in this the twelfth year of Nero Klaudius, Ceasar Sebastos Germoanikos, the Autokrator, at the above-mentioned [town of] Phthochis, that I have [now] twelve lambs in my herd of animals... "
Translated into modern chronology, this twelfth year of Nero's reign is 65/66 A. D. The three officials, who attest to this declaration, are more bureaucratically precise. They confirm the addition of seven new lambs with their dated endorsement in, "the year 12 of Nero the Lord, Epeieph 30." In the Gregorian calendar, which is commonly used today, this corresponds to July 24, 65/66 A.D. "This provides us not only a year but an exact day," says Cohen....
Since both these fragments were found in the same location and their writing styles and materials match, they can both be dated to a period prior or concurrent to the year 66 A.D...
Through Adam & Eve, sin came into this world. From that day on everyone is born in sin. To save us from our sin, (death and hell) the Lord came to this world. God became a man. He is our redeemer, our passover lamb. Now everyone who believes in Him will have everlasting life. Now that part I do understand. Here is whats troubling me...
Through Adam everyone would go to hell whether you believe in him or not. Through Christ then everyone should go to heaven and not just those that believe in Him. Was Adam then "bigger" than Chirst? Can't be cause God created Adam and God was in Christ, and God and Christ are ONE.
So the devil can take everyone through Adam but God can save only some (the believers) through Christ? Did Christ not died for the world and not just for the believers?
> > Did Christ not died for the world and not just for the believers?
I John 2:2 says, "he (Christ) is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world." Christ died for the sins of the whole world, thus taking sin out of the way as an issue in salvation. Now it is "WHAT THINK YE OF CHRIST? WHOSE SON IS HE?" (Mt. 22:42).
The Pharisees answered, "The Son of David." That wasn't enough to save them, for in Mt. 23:24,33, he said to them, "Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel...ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, HOW CAN YE ESCAPE THE DAMNATION OF HELL?" Because of their unbelief, he said, "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord" (Mt. 23:38,39). In Hosea 4:15, Christ said, "I will go and return to my place (Heaven), till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
In Mt. 22:43-45, Christ "saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, THE LORD SAID UNTO MY LORD, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? IF DAVID THEN CALL HIM LORD, HOW IS HE HIS SON?" Jesus was referring to Psalms 110:1: "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."
As a nation, the Jews are still in denial in spite of Proverbs 30:4. In the KJV, it says, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? WHAT IS HIS NAME, AND WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME, IF THOU CANST TELL?" In the Complete Jewish Bible, it says, "WHAT IS HIS NAME, AND WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME? SURELY YOU KNOW!" the Jewish Publication Society's version says, "WHAT IS HIS NAME, AND WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME, IF THOU KNOWEST?" The question is clear. Have they been able to answer the Lord? Have they even tried? I wonder what they think when they read this verse. I thank the Lord for the Messianic Jews. They understand that Y'shua/Jesus is the Son of God and their Messiah.
In Rev. 22:16, the Lord said, "I Jesus (Y'shua) have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I AM THE ROOT AND THE OFFSPRING OF DAVID." How is he the "root" of David? because he is both YHVH and Y'shua, the Son of God. I Cor. 5:19 says, "GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF, NOT IMPUTING THEIR TRESPASSES UNTO THEM." John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM (Y'shua/Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The Pharisees could answer "WHAT IS HIS NAME," but they could not answer "WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME." Salvation boils down to this, "WHAT THINK YE OF CHRIST? WHOSE SON IS HE?" (Mt. 22:42).
Dan. 3:25 says, "Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." That is because he is the Son of God. He was the Son of God in the Old Testament, and he is the Son of God in the New Testament, his Last Will and Testament, that he died to put in effect. Heb. 9:16 says, "For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator." Agape
