...He obviously does not believe in the rapture. could you please read and comment for your readers....It has not knocked my faith in the least. In Jesus

...Many readers simply cannot give up the idea that there is an easy out and simply refuse to accept the words in their Bible. To accept a rapture is as the Bible says the many are deceived by the few....
For all those who have been taught and believe in the rapture, it takes place before the beginning of Revelation Chapter 6. Ministers teach that millions are whisked away to heaven before death can come on them which begins in Revelation Chapter 6. The verses relied on are, REV.4:1; I.THES.5:9,10 and I.COR.15:51,52.
***I not only believe in one Rapture, I believe there are two, one Pre-Trib and one Pre-Wrath. The author of the above left out I Thess. 4:13-18, which has important clues in it concerning the Rapture. I Cor. 15:51,52 mentions the "last trump" of God, which makes no sense until we realize that I Thess. 4:13-18 is the first "trump of God." The "voice of the archangel" is heard at the first trump of God (I Thess. 4:16). Michael the archangel will "stand up" at the junction of this age and the millennial Day of the Lord. As this age ends, the "time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time" will come upon the world. At "that time," the beginning of Christ's kingdom, Daniel's people, the Hebrews, "shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake" (Dan. 12:1,2). That is at the last Rapture, the "last trump" of God. It sounds before the wrath of God is poured out on unbelievers. "For God hath not appointed us (believers) to wrath" (I Thess. 5:9). Therefore, the first "trump of God" and the "last trump" of God both sound BEFORE the 7th seal is broken in Rev. 8 to release the 7 trumpet judgments on unbelievers.
...REV.4:1. Who went to heaven? - John. How many went to heaven? one - Just one.
***More than just John are caught up at that time. Just as soon as John is caught up, we see that the other 23 elders have been caught up too. At the Pre-Trib Rapture, John and the rest of the 12 apostles are caught up and seated on 12 of the 24 thrones. The 12 patriarchs of Israel are also caught up and seated on the other 12 thrones. All 24 elders are seen in Heaven in Rev. 4:4. It says, "round about the throne were four and twenty seats (thrones): and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold."
***Crowns are given at the Pre-Trib Rapture. Rev. 3:11 says, "Behold, I come quickly (at the Rapture, Rev. 22:12,20): hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."
***There are saints in Heaven at that time also. Rev. 5:8-10 says, "saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed US to God by thy blood OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, AND TONGUE, AND PEOPLE, AND NATION; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on (epi, over) the earth." The 24 elders are all Israelites. This group is out of every nation on Earth.
And don't forget that John had to return to earth again, in order to write the Book of Revelation. He did not return to heaven after it's completion, he died on earth, but the ministers forget to tell you this!
***John was told to "Write the things which thou hast seen (before the Rapture), and the things which are (at the time of the Rapture), and the things which shall be HEREAFTER" (after the Rapture). Therefore, he was writing in Heaven too. Rev. 4:1 says, "Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be HEREAFTER." John had to be writing "HEREAFTER" the Rapture. He wrote about what he saw in Heaven right after the Rapture. Christ was given the Title Deed of the Earth. None of the 7 seals had been broken at that time. Therefore the 1st Rapture is a Pre-Trib Rapture, before the seals are broken.
...I.THES.5:9,10. They are quick to point to verse 9 but neglect verse 10. Verse 9 does not specify who "us" is, it could easily be refering to the 144,000 in REV. Chapter 7.
***The 144,000 are not mentioned until Rev. 7. It is easy for anyone to determine who "us" is by looking at the interplay of the pronouns in I Thess. between the bookmarks of 4:18's "Wherefore comfort one another with these words" and 5:11's "Wherefore comfort yourselves together."
***It says, "Wherefore comfort one another with these words. But of the times and the seasons, BRETHREN (BELIEVERS), YE have no need that I write unto YOU. For YOURSELVES know perfectly that the day of the Lord (the Millennium) so cometh as a thief in the night. For when THEY (UNBELIEVERS) shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon THEM, as travail upon a woman with child; and THEY shall not escape. But YE, BRETHREN, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake YOU as a thief....For God hath not appointed US to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for US, that, whether WE wake or sleep, WE should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together."
Reading all of I.THES.5, verse 2 referes to verse 4 and to II.PETER.3:10; verse 3 to DANIEL 9:27; verse 5-8 are a clear warning to be on your guard or be vigilant as it says in verses 14-27; verse 11 say improve morally, spirtual bennefits, and in 12 and 13 he urges you to give advice and warnings, to inform and remind others, and think highly. I.THES is further explained in, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed". I.COR.15:51,52. These two verses are also heavily relied on. What is Paul saying? Look at his words closely....Where and when is the last trumpet sounded? Revelation Chapter 11 Verse 15. The trumpets are God's wrath.
***The author didn't notice that the two trumps of God are SOUNDED BY GOD (I Thess. 4:16). The 7 trumpet judgments are SOUNDED BY ANGELS. Rev. 8:2 says, "I saw the seven ANGELS which stood before God; and to THEM were given seven trumpets." Since the last trumpet judgment hits the Earth on the Day of God's Wrath, and "God hath not appointed us to wrath" (I Thess. 5:9), the "trump of God" cannot be the 7th trumpet judgment. If that were so, believers would have to go through God's wrath. That can't be so....
Almost all the punishments from both Satan and God have been executed by this time. So where is the rapture, - that great saving from the punishments? It doesn't exist. You are being tricked, fooled, deceived, lied to. For rapturists this is a difficult pill to swallow, many cannot, holding onto an easy escape. This easy escape is part of Satans plan to decieve you, to lull you into a false sence of security, and then drop the hammer.
***This author is the one that is "being tricked." When the first "trump of God" in I Thess. 4:16 sounds, "the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee" (Nu. 10:4). These "princes" are the 24 elders, the 12 patriarch of Israel and the 12 apostles. As a type of the trumps of God, Moses was told, "Make thee two trumpets of silver (just as there are 2 Raptures); of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest USE THEM FOR THE CALLING OF THE ASSEMBLY (of Heb. 12:23), and for the journeying of the camps (2 camps, 2 groups raptured). And when they shall blow with them (both), all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And if they blow but with ONE TRUMPET, THEN THE PRINCES, WHICH ARE HEADS OF THE THOUSANDS OF iSRAEL, SHALL GATHER THEMSELVES UNTO THEE."
***At the first "trump of God", the 12 patriarchs "of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee" in Heaven. They are half of the 24 elders. The other 12 are the apostles. They and the main Bride group will also be called up at the first "trump of God" (I Thess. 4:16).
***At the "last trump," all saints will be called to the general assembly in Heaven. Mark 13:27 says, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN" (to gather those that were previously caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture.
...I.COR.15:51. Not all people will die, but all will be changed, WHEN? at the last trumpet, nearly at the end of the Book of Revelation, nearly at the end of all the pain, death and punishments. And the living CANNOT go ahead of the dead. Clearly not a rapture.
***This change is at the time of the Pre-Wrath Rapture. It is when saved mortals become immortal. I Cor. 15:53 says, "this mortal must put on immortality." What was promised us becomes fact on the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord before the 7th seal is broken, before the 7 trumpets are given to the 7 angels.
***Heb. 12:22-25 tells us of the general assembly of that day. It says, "ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of angels, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel. SEE THAT YE REFUSE NOT HIM THAT SPEAKETH (CHRIST). For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him THAT SPEAKETH FROM HEAVEN."...
***Does the world have confusion now because the WORLD Trade Center towers have fallen? The towers formed the number 11. Flight 11 hit a tower on Sept. 11. That signals that we are in the 11th hour. Both the Rapture and a stronger One World Government are close. Soon the 7-year covenant will be confirmed by many, the False Prophet among them (Dan. 9:27).
***...Luke 21:25,28 says, "there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars (constellations); and upon the earth DISTRESS OF NATIONS, WITH PERPLEXITY; the sea and the waves (i.e., large and small nations, Rev. 17:15) roaring...And WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN TO COME TO PASS, THEN LOOK UP, AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS; FOR YOUR REDEMPTION (apolutrosis, DELIVERANCE) DRAWETH NIGH."
***Dec. 19 is 2300 days (Dan. 8:13,14) before Nisan 1, 5768 (Apr. 6, 2008), when I expect the Second Advent. We are now in the days of awe (between the Feast of Trumpets and Day of Atonement. Coming up between now and Dec. 19, we have the Day of Atonement (Sept. 27), the Feast of Tabernacles (Oct. 2-9), and Cheshvan 17 (Nov. 3), when Noah entered the Ark and the Lord closed the door. Be ready, all sins since accepting Christ confessed to bring them under the blood of Christ.
***Rev. 1:3 and 22:10 indicate that the Revelation, the coming of Christ in the air, is "at hand." In 1:19, John is told to "Write the things which thou hast seen (before the Rapture), and the things which are (at the Rapture), and the things which shall be hereafter" ("hereafter" the Rapture, Rev. 4:1). We are near the turning point of Revelation. It turns on the Rapture in Rev. 4:1. All the rest of the book is "hereafter" the Rapture until the sign-off in the last chapter. Then it reverts to the Rapture. Jesus signs off with "Surely I come quickly." He comes quickly at the Rapture. Rev. 3:11 says, "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."...
Teachers of the rapture rely on I.THES.4, and divide all the scriptures into two parts. All the scriptures that discuss the resurrection of the saints and their gathering to Christ, and second, all the scriptures that discuss Christ taking vengence on the wicked people and nations on earth. These two periods are seperated by a period of years. If you read the Book of Revelation there is no seperation but a continius series of events covering 7 years. In I.COR.15:52 it is very specific in that the last trumpet is blown and the dead rise up first.
***Rev. 4:1 is the great divide in the book of Revelation. Before that is before the Rapture. All after that is "hereafter" the Rapture. It says, "After this (the messages to the churches when the Rapture is "at hand," Rev. 1:3) I looked, and, behold, A DOOR WAS OPENED IN HEAVEN: and the FIRST VOICE which I heard (Christ, Rev. 1:10) was as it were of a TRUMPET talking with me; which said, COME UP HITHER, and I will shew thee things which must be HEREAFTER."
***In the Preview of the Rapture in Rev. 1, John said, "I was (lit., became) in the Spirit on the Lord's day ("one of the days of the Son of man" [i.e., one of the 2 Raptures] Luke 17:22) and heard behind me a GREAT VOICE, AS OF A TRUMPET, SAYING, I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST" (Christ). Immediately, John was in Heaven. Christ was there "in the midst of the seven candlesticks" that represent the 7 church groups. Still in his hand were 7 stars, the star performers of the churches, that he had just caught up.
***The Preview of the Rapture in Rev. 1 shows us how Christ will look when we see him. Rev. 1:12-18 says, "I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks (churches, v. 20); And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the SON OF MAN (it is the Day of the Son of Man), clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword (to cut off the lukewarm Laodiceans, Rev. 3:16; Luke 12:46; Mt. 24:51): and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."
The very words of Jesus state, "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other". MATT.24:31.
***This is on the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord, the day of the general assembly of Heb. 12:23. All saints are to be gathered. Those caught up before the Tribulation are gathered from one end of Heaven to the other. The Tribulation saints are gathered from the Earth--at the 2nd Rapture. Mark 13:27 says, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN" (those caught up previously in the Pre-Trib Rapture).
Notice here that again the trumpet must sound, yet back in verse 15 the "abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place", and again in MARK.13:14, this is well into the latter days and can be found in Daniel.11:45.
***It is in the latter days. The second Rapture is on the first day of the Millennium, when those of thr first Rapture are gathered from one end of Heaven to the other to the general assembly. Christ receives his golden crown, his kingdom and his Bride that day. After the Coronation, the Marriage of the Lamb takes place. Following that, the Judgment Seat of Christ takes place. While the judge is being seated, there is silence in both Heaven and Earth. Rev. 8:1 says, "And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour." Hab. 2:20 says, "the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him." Notice that all the saints are in Heaven BEFORE the angels are given the 7 trumpets.
***The 7 trumpet judgments cannot begin to sound until the Judge is seated. When he is seated, he begins to judge. To the saints in Heaven, he gives rewards. To the unbelievers on Earth, he sends the 7 trumpet judgments. Rev. 11:18 sums it up. It says, "the nations were angry (Gog's army attacked Israel), and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be JUDGED (NOT RAPTURED), and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; AND shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth" (including pagan terrorists).
...LUKE.21:7-11..."when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh". LUKE.21:20. Matthew 24 explains it perhaps better. Jesus is on the mount of Olives when his deciples ask him what will be the sign of his coming. Jesus uses 48 verses to explain his coming. The first thing he says is "Take heed that no man deceive you." MATT.24:4. Jesus knows that any preachers will come in his name proclaiming to teach a gospel, a changed gospel, not exactly what he taught...
***Mt. 24:15-31 covers the Great Tribulation, the last half of the 7 years, the section that is to be shortened or no flesh would be saved (24:21,22). His coming at the Pre-Trib Rapture is covered in the Fig Tree Parable of 24:32-34. When we see Israel grafted onto her old rootstock, growing leaves (Gaza, Sinai, West Bank, and Golan Heights, in the Six-Day War of 1967), we are to understand that the Rapture is "near, even at the doors." All the prophecies of the end times will be fulfilled before the generation that saw all these things will end.
Jesus goes on to say that there will be hundreds of wars after his death but not to worry that these things must take place and that there will be great famines and disease and many earthquakes, but this is only the beginning of sorrows verses 6-8. The beginning of sorrows referes to REV.6:1 onwards.
***The beginning of sorrows seems to be World War I. World War II took place, and still "THE END IS NOT YET" (Mt. 24:6). Therefore, the beginning of sorrows cannot be from "Rev. 6:1 onwards."
***Mt. 24:12-16 says, "because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end (that has not yet come), the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and THEN SHALL THE END COME. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains." This end is the Great Tribulation that starts Mid-Trib with the abomination of desolation being placed at the temple.
...MATT.24:21 says it is the great tribulation found in Rev.11:18 and these days will not be shortened except for the elects sake, the "little flock" verse 22.
***Mt. 24:22 (KJV) does not mention "the little flock."...The Great Tribulation is to be shortened for the sake of the Tribulation saints.
...Paul states very clearly WHEN JESUS WILL RETURN. "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope." I.THES.4:13. Paul states that HE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO BE IGNORANT, concerning those who are asleep, (dead) do not worry about them, even though some have no hope on entering heaven.
"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." I.THES.4:14. For those who believed that Jesus died for them and (you), and rose from the dead, God will bring them to/with him.
***The saints have to be caught up to Heaven before they can return with Christ.
"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep." I.THES.4:15. All the apostles not just Paul, say to you by the word of the Lord, those which are alive at his return, regardless of the year, the Lord will not stop those which are dead from rising. In the Book of Revelation WHEN does the dead rise? REV.11:18 "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroyed the earth." REV.11:18. If you understand the Book of Revelation, you realize that the 7 years of punishments is nearly complete at this point....
Rev. 7:9,14 mentions a great multitude that no man can number that come out of the Great Tribulation. And when will this take place? "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" I.THES.4:16. It takes place in REV.11:19 but is explained better in REV.19. AFTER THE SEVENTH OR FINAL TRUMPET "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." I.THES.4:17 So you see there is no secret coming of Jesus to save us in a rapture.
***The resurrection of I Thess. 4:16 cannot take place in Rev. 11:19 or Rev. 19. In Rev. 11:17-19 the already raptured saints are in Heaven "Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come (the 2nd Advent is still 7 months future, Eze. 39:12,13); because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and THE TIME OF THE DEAD, THAT THEY SHOULD BE JUDGED (NOT RESURRECTED), and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."
***In the Ark of the Testament were 2 stone tablets upon which were written the Ten Commandments. I think those 2 slabs of stone represent the 2 asteroids that will strike Earth and destroy civilization on the Day of God's Wrath (Rev. 8:8,10), because those commandments were not obeyed. A binary asteroid twice as long as wide is the "curse that goeth forth (orbits) over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth (including the False Prophet) shall be cut off as on this side according to it (1 asteroid will hit the Mediterranean, Zeph. 2:4,5); and every one that sweareth (including the Tribulation Pope) shall be cut off as on that side (asteroid 2 will destroy Babylon) according to it. I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief (the False Prophet), and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name (the Pope): and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof" (Zech 5:3,4). Isa. 30:25 says, "And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, WHEN THE TOWERS FALL." This globe will be turned upside down. Isa. 24:1 says, "Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and TURNETH IT UPSIDE DOWN, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof." In that day, every wall will fall (Eze. 38:20).
Most of you will continue to believe in the rapture because you want a nice safe, easy way, to escape the future punishments. Nearly all teachers of this theory believe that the beginning of Revelation.6:1 will begin with the signing of a seven year peace deal in the Middle East. This is based on Daniel.9:27, "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the obligation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate". One week of Jewish terms means, seven years.
Mr. Barak of Israel claims this signing will happen in Sept./Oct. of 2000. The Jews will soon begin the construction of this holy temple mentioned in DAN.9:27. So for a rapture to take place, it must occure between now and the end of October 2000, as REV.6:1 begins almost immediately after the signing of the seven year peace contract or peace deal.
***Instead of what Barak says, it is what God says that determines when the confirmation with many, probably with the UN, will take place. Dan. 9:27 says, "And he (the False Prophet) shall CONFIRM THE COVENANT WITH MANY FOR ONE WEEK: and in the midst of the week he (the False Prophet) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations (idols) he shall make it (the temple, I Thess. 2:4) desolate, even until THE CONSUMMATION (THE END), and that determined (the 7 trumpet judgments) shall be poured upon the desolate (lit., desolator)."
The rapture, or disappearance, would involve at least 1 Billion people. There is no way it could not be noticed, or hid from the public. See you next year. I personally do not see a 7 year peace deal being signed in the year 2000. In addition it will not take place in the fall, but rather in the spring.
In addition the church's are teaching exactly what Christ said they would do, the children (people) would rebell, lying children, that the people would not see, and teach lies. "That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophecy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophecy deceits: get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us." ISA.30: 9 -11. The number of true christians in this world today is very small, one or more of the commandments are daily being broken by everyone, more and more often, but you have to keep trying every day, you should see an improvement every month. You are going to fall off the path of rightousness, you have to get up, dust yourself off, and keep trying to improve yourself. Remember the Book of Revelation is the last words of Jesus Christ in the Bible. It take's authority over all other texts in the Bible.
***"ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (II Tim. 3:16). No part takes authority over any other part. It is all equally 100% true.
