9-25-01 UNITED NATIONS - The United Nations Security Council has given the green light to the United States to launch a "proportionate" military strike inside Afghanistan in retaliation for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Sources inside the Security Council say the 15 member nations unanimously agreed that their Sept. 12 resolution condemning the attacks also endorsed an initial military response by the United States, and that Washington requires no further UN permission to act....
The change has come about, say the sources, because Washington's approach to retaliation appears to be "measured" and "in the spirit" of the resolution.
The 1260, 1290 and 1335 day periods in Dan. 12 all start when the abomination of desolation is placed at the temple Mid-Trib. I think they mark the end of Satan's dominion (1260th day), the end of a 30-day mourning period for the "goats" being cast into "everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" (Mt. 25:41) (the 1290th day), and Daniel's standing in his own lot/plot of ground in Israel on the 1335th day from Mid-Trib.
For dominion to be taken from Satan at the Judgment of the Nations, Christ must have already arrived on Earth. The full 2520 days (1260 + 1260 = 2520) end on Nisan 15, the Feast of Unleavened Bread. That seems to be the last day of Satan's dominion.
Eze. 29:17,21 and Hos. 6:3 show us that Christ will return on Nisan 1, the first day of the Jewish Regnal and Sacred Year. Nisan 1, 5768 is Apr. 6, 2008 (anniversary of Crucifixion on Apr. 6, 30 AD).
Eze. 29:17 sets the day, "the first month, in the first day of the month" (Nisan 1). Then v. 21 says, "In that day (Nisan 1) will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD."
Hos. 6:3 says, " the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." The former rain starts Tishri 1. The latter rain starts Nisan 1. They are such definite times in Israel that they are marked on their calendars that show feast days and harvest times. Du. 11:14 says, " I will give you the rain of your land in HIS DUE SEASON."
Nisan 1 makes sense when we read that at the end of 2300 days, "THEN SHALL THE SANCTUARY BE CLEANSED" in Dan. 8:14, then read Eze. 45:18,20,21. It says, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month (Nisan 1), thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and CLEANSE THE SANCTUARY....so shall ye reconcile the house.... In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover."
Counting backward from Nisan 1, 5768 by Jewish inclusive reckoning, we find that the 2300 days of Dan. 8:13,14 would start on Dec. 19, 2001.
The final year has to be a Jewish Leap Year with the 13th month, because there are 7 months (Eze. 39:12,13) between the Day of God's Wrath and the following Nisan 1. The Jewish 5768 is a Leap Year. One year less or one year more just won't work, because they are not leap years.
We seem to be running out of time.
A question I asked all my life: How could that possibly happen? By the time I was 10 yrs. old in 1943, I was going with my mother to adult Bible study (Baptist church.) The adults would talk about the book of Revelation. From this discussion I knew there was going to be a big war and people all over the earth would be killed. I would wonder, "How could that possibly happen? What could kill that many people?" Someone split the atom and that was possible. No one at that time talked about asteroids hitting the earth and we had no idea what killed the dinosaurs
The Jews were supposed to come back to their land. I thought, "How could that possibly happen, they are scattered over the earth. Hitler was the answer. After the holocaust the Jews went back to their land and took it.
The Berlin wall was solidly up. In 1989 my husband was dying of cancer and I paid little attention to events outside my home. One day the Berlin wall was there and the next day it was gone and people went back and forth and within days the Soviet Union was dissolved. No war; it just went away. Again I thought "How could that possibly happen so quietly and so fast?" I thought I must have missed some big happening because I wasn't paying attention. Actually, the Soviet Union ran out of money and that was that. Unbelievable.
China and others (kings of the east) were supposed to have millions in their armies, go across the dry riverbed of the Euphrates for a great battle. How could that possibly happen? What would cause it to dry up? Now there is a dam that can divert/stop the flow of that river.
Babylon was supposed to become the economic/religious center of the world. How could that possibly happen? The US was the center of the world economy. That could never be stopped. It was stopped in one hour. Some companies lost all their employees, thousands of workers over the country are laid off within days. The entire world is sliding into a recession due to their connection with our economy. The US is vulnerable as never before in its history. The population is nervous wondering if biological or chemical weapons are next. We are not immune to war on our soil anymore. This country could be replaced as the center of world trade. The buildings are gone, what is next?
World government is supposed to be in Babylon. How could that possibly happen? The people in the U.N. were terrified during this attack. They were afraid that building was also targeted. They don't feel secure in New York anymore. Is this the beginning of the end for the UN to be in New York? Where could they build a new building? Maybe Babylon? No, that couldn't possibly happen. How could that possibly happen? Too far fetched to think about. Not anymore.
What I have finally learned since the age of 10 when I began asking that question is, don't bother asking the question, it is all happening just as Revelation laid it out. I have watched it come together over these many years and it has been gaining momentum since 1989, going faster and faster.
If a person believes in Christ, the book of Revelation must also be true. I have never understood why people who profess to be Christians shy away from this book. Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein; for the time is at hand."
Every revelation in Revelation is unfolding very quickly now. Faster and faster, day by day, minute by minute, we must soon be gone.

Oh say can you see When the 'last' trumpet sounds?
Beginning Sept.18, are the 10 days of Holy Days leading up to Yom Kipur...Sept 26... these feasts of the tabernacle of the Old Testament represent a timeline in God's plan for mankind. Could the rapture be marked at the sound of that last trumpet?
Rosh Hoshana marks the beginning of Judaism's solemn 10 day period known as the High Holy Days. It begins on the first day of Etanim (Tishri) which is the seventh month in the biblical calendar. It is biblically a day of blowing the shofar and begins a ten day period known as "Days of Awe" lasting until Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is also viewed as a day of judgement -- where people examine their lives for sin, and have ten days to make peace with those whom they have hurt, or broken promises to. It is the time to cast away sin, as symbolized by the traditional act of Tashlich ('to cast') -- where people visit a body of moving water and cast bread crumbs into the water -- this symbolically "casts away" our sin into the river. This tradition originates from Micah 7:19, "He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea." Rosh Hashanah has traditionally been linked to the resurrection -- perhaps Yeshua had Rosh Hashanah in mind when he spoke of Israel's regathering "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:31
Traditionally it is believed that G-d records us into the "book of life" on Rosh Hashanah, so you'll want to greet others with "May you be inscribed in the Book of Life!" Traditional foods eaten on Rosh Hashanah are sweet -- items sweetened with honey -- and lots of apple dishes. For the evening's meal, it is traditional to eat apple slices dipped in honey.
The holidays end with Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement, which begins at sundown on September 26. It is a time where people have had ten days to repent of their sins and get right with God. They are to forgive others also. It is believed the High Holy Days are a time when God Judges His people and writes their fate for the new year in the Book of Life or Book of Death. That fate is sealed on Yom Kippur. On the ninth day they have a feast, and on the evening just as the tenth day begins, they spent the 24 hours fasting and praying. Repentence and forgiveness also are important themes of the High Holy Days.
Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) is the most solemn day of the Jewish year and concludes the Ten Days of Awe -- falling on the tenth day of Etanim (Tishri). We are commanded to 'afflict your souls on this day or be cut off from your people' Leviticus 23:29. Some interpret this to mean fasting, others argue fasting afflicts the body not the soul. Yom Kipuur is a solemn day of prayer. Yom Kippur is the "Sabbath of Sabbaths" -- the holiest day of the year. Yom Kippur is the day to seek forgiveness for vows broken --- vows between man and G-d and between each other. -it is a solemn time.
Day ten, is the only service of the year during which the doors of the Ark (where Torah scrolls are stored) remain open from the beginning to the end of the service. This signifys that the gates of heaven are still open. There's still time. At shul on the eve of Yom Kippur, men wear their tallit and the cantor sings "Kol Nidre" three times -- getting louder each time. This reminds people of the importance of keeping their promises to G-d and other men. This is a time of confession and prayer -- admitting the guilt of our sin and asking G-d for forgiveness. When the temple still stood, the high priest would enter the Holy of Holies on Yom Kippur and offer the blood of the sacrifice for the people. The high priest would offer solemn prayers that G-d would receive the offering and forgive the sins of the people. Yeshua is our high priest -- He entered the heavenly Holy of Holies and is currently making blood atonement for our sins. Then the shofar (trumpet) is blown 100 times, at which your fate is sealed and the book of life is closed. The verse, 'The Lord is our God' is said seven times. Biblically this great horn is sounded in all great times of history. It is what we will hear during the rapture.
A thought: Rosh Hoshanah begins with the sounding of a trumpet...In Ez.33:3, a warning is sounded by a trumpet. It's the trumpet of the watchman, for people to turn from their wicked ways and live. (also Ez.7:14) The last hour of the Holy Days the trumpet is sounded 100 times. At the sound of the last trumpet the Ark is closed and names are sealed.
In I Corinthians 15:52: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." read on in the chapter to see that 'death is swallowed up in victory', 'But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ'.
Do we have eight days to repent for our sins and get our lives right before God? Maybe, maybe not. Irregardless, we do know the time of the return of Christ is near. In Matthew 25 Jesus tells of the 10 virgins. 5 are ready. 5 are not. Does this tell us that only 'half' the church will be saved? In verse 15 He tells us "Watch, therefore; for ye know neither the day nor the hour which the Son of man cometh."

How can the Feast of Tabernacles (October 2nd, 2001), be "Cheshvan 17"?
1.) Tabernacles starts on the "15th" day of the month (not the 17th).
2.) This is the month of "Tishri" -- Cheshvan is the NEXT month.
3.) "Cheshvan" (Heshvan) begins "NOVEMBER 3rd, 2001".
Check your Jewish calendar if you have one. If you don't have a Jewish calendar, go to the link below, and fill in the dates to find what date it is on the Jewish calendar.
November 3rd, 2001 = Cheshvan (Heshvan) 17.
Cheshvan 17 (when Noah went into the Ark and the Lord closed the door) is our November 2/3.
If the Second Advent is on Nisan 1, 5768 (Apr. 5/6, 2008), the 2300 days of Dan. 8:13,14 would start Dec. 18/19, 2001. I am hoping for the Rapture between now and then. Agape
The above is gathering the saints that have already been taken to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture. It is just part of what happens that day. Mark 13:27 says, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN." This is the gathering of all saints to the general assembly in Heaven on the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord. Heb. 12:22-24 says, "ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant."

What about Tabernacles? Nu. 10:10 says, "Also in the day of your gladness, and in your SOLEMN DAYS, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God." Wouldn't the trumpet also be blown at the Feast of Tabernacles?

The trumpets we have been talking about are shofars, sounded by men. The two trumpets that I think may prefigure the two trumps of God are in Nu. 10:2-4. It says, "the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the CALLING OF THE ASSEMBLY, and for the JOURNEYING OF THE CAMPS. And when they shall blow with them (BOTH), ALL THE ASSEMBLY shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation (i.e., the Pre-Wrath Rapture). And if they blow but with ONE TRUMPET, THEN THE PRINCES (ELDERS), WHICH ARE HEADS OF THE THOUSANDS OF ISRAEL, SHALL GATHER THEMSELVES UNTO THEE (i.e., the Pre-Trib Rapture)."
First, one trumpet sounds, and the Pre-Trib Rapture takes place. The Bride of Christ visits her habitation Job 5:24 says, "thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin." Second, that same trumpet sounds again, calling those in Heaven to the general assembly in Heaven. Third, the other trumpet sounds, calling the Tribulation saints to the general assembly in Heaven. That is the last trump of God. The first calls up the wise virgins. The last calls up the Tribulation saints. Among them are the foolish virgins. They have washed their robes in the blood of Christ to make them white (Rev. 7:14).
I believe that the Second Rapture is on the Feast of Trumpets. The 144,000 plus the great multitude that no man can number are in Heaven in Rev. 7, before Rev. 8, before the 7 trumpet judgments sounded by angels bring the wrath of God on Earth.
This makes it seem likely that the First Rapture will also be on a feast day, but it might not be. We just have to watch and stay ready. It seems soon any way we look at it. Keep in mind the covenant that is to be confirmed with many (probably the UN) in Dan. 9:27, and that the man riding forth on a white horse at the beginning of the Tribulation is a religious leader (Rev. 6:2). He comes as a prince of peace and has a bow (toxon, simple fabric) to show that he is a man of the cloth. Mt. 7:15 says, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
In the gospel in the stars, king Cepheus represents Christ. He has a fistful of fabric ribbons in his right hand to show that he is a religious leader. Some pictures just show him holding a piece of fabric. They both mean the same thing. He is both a religious leader, our high priest, and the great king.
Remember that "The ancient and honourable (the Pope), he is the head (6th head of the great red dragon); and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail" (Isa. 9:15). The False Prophet is both the 7th head of the great red dragon and the tail, because he is Satan indwelt. After the False Prophet is deposed from office on the Day of God's Wrath, Satan, the tail, becomes "the eighth" (Rev. 17:11) and operates on his own for the duration of his dominion over Earth.

Perhaps some of his thoughts can lend insight to the coming of Jesus if indeed it is with respect to the Feast of Tabernacles.
I am not certain of Eddie's research to know how much is based upon factual information (true scholarship) verses how much is simply his own personal understanding (opinion).

Also, I observe that the Luke account of the transfiguration says "about eight days" and in Matthew "after six days" and Mark "after six days". I realize that the context of each of these verses is with respect to what is written prior in each Gospel. It appears that all three follow the same conversation of Jesus. My point is that Matthew and Mark reference the Transfiguration as definitely six days after, which would not be inconsistent with Luke's "about eight days". One question is "After what?" relative to the specific days of the Feast. Perhaps the day to look for Christ's return within the days of the Feast of Tabernacles is not the eigth but the sixth. Circling the altar 7 times reminds me of Jericho, which means His moon or month. They circled the city once a day for 7 days. On the 7th day, they circled it 7 times, then blew the 7 trumpets. The wall fell down flat. Then Josh. 6:3-5 says, "the people shall ASCEND UP every man straight before him." Do you suppose this "ASCEND UP" could picture the Rapture? Seven is God's number of completeness. Saturn has 7 circles, or rings. According to Josephus, Saturn was the eastern light in the lampstand, the 3rd heaven from the central lamp that represented Earth. Food for thought.
Lev. 23:40-44 says, "ye shall take you on the first day (of Tabernacles, Tishri 15) the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God."
I think Yeshua came as the former rain on Tishri 1 and will return as the latter rain on Nisan 1. Nisan 1 is the first day of the Jewish Regnal Year and Sacred Year. Dan. 8:14 says, "Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the SANCTUARY BE CLEANSED." Eze. 45:18 says, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month (NISAN 1), thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and CLEANSE THE SANCTUARY." This has to be Nisan 1 for they keep the Passover on the 14th in v. 21.
In Eze. 29:17 the day is set. It says, "in the first month, in the first day of the month" (Nisan 1). Then v. 21 says, "In that day will I cause the horn (king) of the house of Israel (Christ) to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth (the Word, the Logos) in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD."
