Through Billy Graham today, Biblical prophecy was fulfilled. As I listened to him today, I was in a store that had the entire service broadcast throughout every speaker in the store's audio system. I It was on virtually every TV and radio station and people across America held hands and wept before God. It is my personal belief that the Holy Spirit came upon Billy Graham just as it did upon John the Baptist announcing the Kingdom of God is at hand. I also believe that this is the most significant prophecy to be fulfilled since Israel became a nation in 1948. Agree or not, it was staggering to hear this today. Jesus tells us often, to watch and 'take heed, keep on the alert, for you do not know when the appointed time is." Mark 13:33. Just thought you might want to watch and keep alert! God Bless America !!
The last day of Sukkot is called Hoshana Raba. Jewish tradition records that the heavenly decrees made on Rosh Hashana (and sealed on Yom Kippur) are actually sent out on Hoshana Raba. The main book of Kabbalah, the Zohar, also says that the nations of the world are judged on this day.
The day immediately following Sukkot is also a Yom Tov, called Shmini Atzeret ("Eighth Day of Assembly"). Outside of Israel, this Yom Tov extends two days, with the second day designated as Simchat Torah. This is when we finish reading the final portion of the Torah and begin a new cycle. We dance around the synagogue, holding the Torah scrolls, expressing joy in our treasured Torah.

I thought it was interesting that the Kabbalah Jews consider the last day of Sukkot a judgement day for all nations. And that the day after is the "Eighth Day of Assembly" (Rapture like) How does that apply to your theory on "The Outgoing of the Year" article on your front page? Thanks! Because of Him
Rev. 11:15-18 says, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry (Gog's army is attacking Israel), and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged (at the Judgment Seat of Christ), and that thou shouldest give REWARD unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; AND shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth."
The first day of the millennial Day of the Lord is the Day of God's Wrath. Joel 1:15 says, "Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come." It comes on a feast day, Mal. 2:3 says, "Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it." Joel 2:1-3, and other references show that it is on the Feast of Trumpets. It makes sense that the Millennium would start on the Jewish New Year. Also, the Feast of Trumpets is the only feast that falls on the beginning of a year.
Of the feasts of Tishri, Joel 2:15-18 says, "Blow the trumpet (Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1) in Zion, sanctify a fast (Day of Atonement, Tishri 10), call a SOLEMN ASSEMBLY: GATHER THE PEOPLE, sanctify the congregation, assemble the ELDERS (to seat them on their 24 thrones), GATHER THE CHILDREN (Pre-Wrath Rapture), and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet (called to the assembly from one end of Heaven to the other, Mt. 24:31). Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people (Gog's army is attacking Israel), O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people." Agape
What i really fear that if all these things calm down, i dont know what i'm going to do. My home is having financial problems, and worldly things are really trying to get my attention, i feel that world is holding my other hand and Jesus another. I do not understand why Jesus won't tell us now when He's going to come.
When Bible says: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
I cant help it, but i'm thinking that maybe everytime Jesus turns 5 foolish servants to wise servants, 1 wise servant turns to foolish, falls back to sleep. I have very little patience, and maybe i'm being little bit childish, but i don't want to have any more patience, i want to see Jesus face to face. I think that's much better than to have loads of patience.
I hate to see somebody saying that "Jesus comes 2004 or maybe even 2007", it makes me very sad and when i read something like that, i get angry to Jesus, you know? I don't care even if Jesus would use me to witness of Him to whole world, that would be nothing compared to only see glimpse of Him.
When i was little child, (..that's not so long ago, if exodus were today, i would make it to Israel :), i had strong fever, and when i fell asleep and then woke, and saw Jesus beside me, He was praying for me. That's my oldest memory of Jesus, and from that day on i have known who Jesus is, but about a year ago, i got really interested in end-times and my faith had real boost. I've read Hal Lindsey and co. from when i was in 3rd grade, and have known book of Revelations almost better than any other book in the Bible, but for this past year, trying to learn more about end-times has really got bigger and my faith has grown much stronger. When i first found your site, i downloaded every Pro & Con, between somewhere 400 and 600 and i read almost all of them in one day. Now i sometimes stay awake to 4am my time, to see have you updated your site. Your site is truly the best site on internet, that is my opinion...but anyway writing all this to you eased my feeling very much, thank you for that.
And BTW, when we get to heaven, i think that there is going to be lots of people there, and maybe i don't find you immediately, just to be sure, i want to thank you now. Thank you Marilyn VERY much, i think that you have no idea how much hope you bring. maranatha & agape
> > what if december comes and goes, and nothing happens?
Then I will keep my faith strong and wait patiently until the Lord comes. You see, I trust him for everything. He will do what he promised when it is the absolute right time. I want everything to be just like he wants it. He is the only one smart enough to figure out everything the best way.
Our patience will be rewarded. Rev. 3:10 says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my PATIENCE, I also will keep thee FROM the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." Lu. 21:19 says, "In your PATIENCE possess ye your souls." Rom. 8:25 says, "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with PATIENCE wait for it." Heb. 10:35-37 says, "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of PATIENCE, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For YET A LITTLE WHILE, AND HE THAT SHALL COME WILL COME, AND WILL NOT TARRY." Heb. 12:1 says, "let us run with PATIENCE the race that is set before us." James 1:3,4 says, "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh PATIENCE. But let PATIENCE have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
We have been hit with one thing after the other. When something else happens, I just keep putting one foot before the other, do whatever I have to do, and say softly, "What next?" I trust the Lord to get me through whatever I have to face. Without him, I could do nothing. He can see how to arrange events to work them all together for our good when we can't figure out how to do it. I hang on to Romans 8:28. It says, "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Not everything that happens to us is good, and he didn't promise that everything would be good. What he promised is to work everything together for the good of those that love Him. He promised that he would never leave us. He is there to give us the inner strength and peace we need even if things around us are anything but peaceful. He is there to talk to and to comfort us.
> > Tell me your honest opinion, do you think it's possible? Is it possible that we would have to wait rapture for a another year or so?
It is possible, I am no prophet, but world events seem to be working toward a climax sooner than that. Also, when Christ returns, I think the sanctuary will be cleansed. Eze. 45:18 says that on Nisan 1, they are to "cleanse the sanctuary." The sanctuary is to be cleansed at the end of the 2300 days of Dan. 8:13,14. 2300 days before Apr. 6, 2008 (Nisan 1, 5768), when I think the Second Advent will be, is Dec. 19, 2001. That Jewish year 5768 has to be a Jewish Leap Year with a 13th month, because Eze. 39:12,13 shows a 7 month period from Tishri 1 to Nisan 1. 5768 is a Leap Year. However, the year before it or after it is not a Leap Year. Therefore, I can't see how the Tribulation could start next year. Forty years from 1967, when the Sign of the End of the Age appeared, is 2007. The first day of 5768 is Tishri 1, our Sept. 13, 2007. That is 7 good years and 7 bad years after the Oslo Accords were signed Sept. 13, 1993. I can't see how that could change. The Accords were ratified in Israel 3 days later, on Tishri 1, 5754. Add the 7 good years and the 7 bad years. You get Tishri 1, 5768, which is Sept. 13, 2007. That smacks of something God would and could do.
> > And what that means in 10-virgin parable, that all 10 virgins were asleep, even wise virgins? Do we have to wait for rapture so many times, that we get tired and fall asleep?
General rules often have exceptions when certain individuals are considered. For example, as a nation, Israel is blinded, but there are plenty of individuals that believe in Yeshua that don't fit that mold. I can't see myself falling asleep spiritually. That just doesn't seem possible.Maranatha. Agape
At Pentecost, they were to wave 2 loaves. That might typify Jews and Gentiles, or it might mean there are 2 fulfillments. Some prophecies have double fulfillments.
Here is some food for thought. The Rapture might not be on a feast day. Since the Rapture is as the days of Noah (Mt. 24:37), it makes me wonder if that is why the exact dates are given in Gen. 7and 8. Noah entered the Ark through the door on Cheshvan 17 (7:11) and came out a year later on Cheshvan 27 (8:14). Those dates this year fall on our Nov. 3 and 13.
Gen. 8:14 says, "in the second month (Cheshvan, because it was before the sacred year was instituted at Mt. Sinai), on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth DRIED. If that has an echo today, the Holy Spirit might take the Bride of Christ to Heaven that day. That way, the living water would go to Heaven that day. His retraining the appearance of the False Prophet would be removed. At that point, the earth could be said to be dried.
Gen. 7:1 makes me wonder too. It says, "the LORD said unto Noah, COME thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen RIGHTEOUS before me in THIS GENERATION." Christ was represented by the door (John 10:9), so maybe the Ark represented Heaven itself. It had a third story (Gen. 6:16), and Heaven is the "third heaven." In II Cor. 12:2, Paul was "caught up to the third heaven."
Those words, COME, RIGHTEOUS and THIS GENERATION have their echoes yet today. At the Rapture, Christ will say, "COME up hither" (Rev. 4:1). The wise virgins are those seen as RIGHTEOUS. They have plenty of the oil of the Holy Spirit in their vessels. They go with the Bridegroom when he comes. In the parable of the fig tree in Mt. 24:32-34, the Rapture seems linked to "THIS GENERATION."
Noah went into the Ark in his 600th year and came out in his 601st year (Gen. 8:13). The 601 could easily prefigure 2001, which I think Michael Rood calls 6001.
Do you suppose that when Noah stepped out of the Ark, it depicted him stepping out in Heaven after the Pre-Trib Rapture? Gen. 9:13 says of god, "I do set my bow (A SIGN) in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth." Agape
In reading your main page about the rapture possibility for the Feast of Tabernacles (Oct. 2), I also read that the ceremonial laying of the Two Cornerstones for the Third Temple (by The Temple Mount Faithful) has now been approved by the Israeli govt. The event as follows:
"This historical event will take place on Thursday, 4th October 2001, the third day of Sukkoth, at 09:30 AM. We shall meet at the Western Wall plaza close to the western (Mugrabi) gate of the Temple Mount. The event has the approval of the Israeli authorities and will be protected by the Israel security forces."
My question: Could this fit (within Jewish inclusive reckoning) to have occurred "on the third day" after a possible rapture event on Oct. 2 - lending weight to the possibility of a tabernacles rapture? yours in Christ
I added this note on the Home Page, because the days of Noah suggest two other dates that are coming up.
"Note: We also have 2 dates in the account of Noah's Ark that could be associated with the Rapture, Cheshvan 17 (Nov. 3 in 2001), when Noah entered and the Lord closed the door, and Cheshvan 27 (Nov. 13 in 2001, when Noah stepped out of the Ark on dry land."
It would be nice to think the actual cornerstone of the temple would be laid, but until it happens, I have my doubts. This group has tried and been unable to do it for the last several years. The stone they tried to lay before seemed only symbolic, because it was an odd-shaped stone, not rectangular. Maybe it would have to be cut according to specs later. I was surprised to find that they now have 2 stones.
I think I finally got how the Jews count time straight in my head. When they talk about running time, it isn't counted by inclusive reckoning. Seven days in one week follow 7 days in the past week without overlapping. However, if they mention a block of time, such as the Six-Day War, they count the days including the first date. June 5 through 10 would be 6 days total, counted by inclusive reckoning.
> > "on the third day" after
That is like "the third day since," as in Luke 24:21: "But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done." They key word is "since." The Crucifixion was on Thursday; the 3 days since were Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thursday was not counted, so inclusive reckoning was not used in this case. Agape
Now thanks to The Lord Jesus Christ, I am back to normal. I really appreciate all those who prayed for me, when I was too weak physically, to pray for myself. I also believe there are two Raptures, as you do. But a question has come to my mind, does this separate The Bride from the Church? I know this is not a brilliant question, but I would like to know what you think. Thanks
In Rev. 17:14, right after the 1st Rapture has taken place, we see that "they that ARE with him ('Lord of lords, and King of kings') ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL." All believers are called, but some must not be chosen, if they are not faithful. The ekklesia are the called out ones.
All believers are part of the Body of Christ and are called. Eph. 4:4 says, "There is ONE BODY, and one Spirit, even as ye are CALLED in one hope of your CALLING." This does not mention being chosen. It seems that to be chosen, we must be faithful.
II Peter 1:4-11, Peter gave us a list of things we should add to our faith "that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (i.e., be filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit), having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust" (v. 4). Then in v. 9-11, he said, "HE THAT LACKETH THESE THINGS IS BLIND (like the Laodiceans), and CANNOT SEE AFAR OFF (Heaven), and hath forgotten that he was purged from his OLD sins (when he accepted Christ). Wherefore the rather, brethren (believers), give diligence to make your CALLING AND ELECTION sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an ENTRANCE (the Rapture) shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." These are to be added to our faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, charity (agape love).
That is a strong statement, "HE THAT LACKETH THESE THINGS IS BLIND." That means that he is a Laodicean to whom Jesus said, "I WILL SPUE THEE OUT OF MY MOUTH" (Rev. 3:16). These are "wretched, and miserable, and poor, and BLIND, and naked" in verse 17. They are told to anoint their eyes with eyesalve and to buy of the Lord "WHITE RAIMENT."
Here we can see that believers, all part of the Body of Christ, are split into 2 groups, wise and foolish virgins, those wearing white robes of righteousness (Rev. 19:8) and those not having white robes. They are carnal. I Cor. 3:3 says, "For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?" Those that do not get chosen because they do not have on spiritual white robes will be raptured just before the wrath of God hits Earth. By that time, they will have "washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" (Rev. 7:14). Heb. 12:14 says, "Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS, WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD."
Mt. 22:11-14 says, " when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN." We want to be called, and chosen, and faithful.
In Rev. 19:7,8, we find that the "wife hath made herself ready." The "fine linen, clean and white" is the righteousness (dikaioomata, righteousnesses) of saints." It includes Christ's righteousness imputed to us plus our righteous acts.
It looks like the wise virgins and the Philadelphians make up the Bride of Christ at the first Rapture. The 144,000 Israelites are caught up in the 2nd Rapture, but they too are "virgins...firstfruits...without fault before the throne of God" (Rev. 14:4,5). Agape
Enoch was a Gentile. His Rapture pictured the Rapture that will take place before the Tribulation starts. The Tribulation is the 70th week of Daniel 9:27. God will be dealing primarily with Israel then. Therefore, he will send them 2 Israeli prophets. He sent them one, John the Baptist, to prepare the way for Christ's ministry at the time of the First Advent. He will send two to prepare the way before the Second Advent. Agape
