What you say
Gen.1,2 In the beginning GOD created the heaven and the earth.The crown of His creation were a man and a woman. According to His own image God created them as the ancestors of human race. And then an act of disobedience was initiated by the head ship of the human race known as the first Adam whereby all the offspring inherited sinful corrupted nature.
put a sheet of paper upon a table in front of you
Gen.6,7 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
Only Noah & his family found grace in the eyes of the Creator. And then God destroyed all flesh by flood but saved Noah's family through the Ark.
cut off a small portion of the paper and throw out the rest
Gen.10:32 God started again with Noah's family and before long they became many nations.
put on a new sheet
Out of one particular nation (from descendants of Shem) God called out one man from his country and he obeyed. His initial name was Abram the Hebrew and then changed to Abraham.
cut off a small portion
Gen.12 He was the father of many nations and through his son Isaac and his grandson Jacob, he became the ancestor of the chosen people, the Hebrew race, the Jews, known to day as people of Israel. The Creator use this people as the carrier of the oracle of God and His salvation, for the blessing of all the human families of the earth.
place a new sheet as the second sheet
Now there were two group of people; the Gentiles nation and the Jewish race.Through this special class of people the Almighty God revealed Himself to the human race through the Law of Moses and the Jewish prophets to let us know that;
  1. The natural human heart is already tainted with sin ,beyond repair and no human being can fixed it.
  2. His willingness to forgive and restore through the atonement of sin.
  3. His faithfulness and His love toward His creation compelled Him to rescue the fallen human race from the eternal separation ( everlasting death).
When the time arrived the Lord God from heaven as the last Adam became man;
place a pen from 'above' upon the 'Israel' sheet
with the special mission to redeem the fallen human race. To die on the cross for the sin of all mankind past, present and future. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The Cross is the only way of escape he has provided how all people might be saved and be with Him forever.

Read it verbatim:

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Ro 5:15 Because, as by one man's disobedience sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Ro 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Before His ascension, He had promised to His disciples: "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8
lift up the pen from the sheet
Ac.2:1-4 at the day of Pentecost, 50 days after the resurrection of Christ Jesus the Holy Spirit came upon the believers who are waiting for the promise.
make a fire from the match box and drop it upon the 'believer' small cuts paper
2 Cor.5:17-21 From that day on was born a new creation, a new humanity  which is called ekklesia - the call out, or the body of Christ, His bride or simply the church. It is not a building nor a system of religious government nor an organized institution, but an assembly of new human race, wherein the Holy Spirit indwell the believer and simply called Christian. So the church is a group of 'called out ones' for the spreading and teaching of the gospel. There is no more black people, white race or red, brown, yellow skins ethnicity. The church is a new creation in Christ Jesus.
cut off several more pieces from 'Israel' sheet and from 'Gentile' sheet and place upon a new sheet (the third sheet on the table)
So there are now three groups of human race that God dealing with. Each group has it's own destiny in God's plan of redemption. The new human race is called His body. It is still growing in some countries despite physical persecution like in Indonesia, China, Africa and Latin America. In the western world unfortunately it is shrinking due to worldliness and secularism.
divide the 'church' paper in two, indicating the tares and the wheat
Now the destiny of the new human race is this: Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; As it is promised ...

Read it verbatim;

1Thes 4:16-17 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (NIV)
 the pen and the half of 'church' (the wheat) paper meet in the air.  Rev.3:7-13
Rev.3:14-22 Now what will happened with the rest of the group which are left behind ? One of the purpose of the caught up (the rapture) is to rescue His true redeemed people before the coming holocaust known as the great tribulation in the days ahead,  which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
It is going to come about as it was in the days of Noah and in the days of Lot; and shall happened as Jesus revealed it in the book of Revelation.
Ro 6:23  For the wages of sin is death [the bad news] ; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. [the good news]
So my appeal to you is this; --
  • If you are already in Christ, hold that fast which you have that no man take your crown.
  • If not, be reconciled with God through Lord Jesus Christ who died for my sin and yours.
Read it verbatim;
It is written:
     We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5:20-21 (NIV) .
