Two Hearts Are Better Than One


For so many reasons two hearts are better than one
Those reasons will be very clear before this poem is done,
For when one heart starts to break apart
The other can mend it, saving the heart,
If one heart is just a little too weak
The other can step up when things
are looking meek,
And if the other heart becomes tainted with evil
Then the second heart can step in, making a quick retrieval,
If for some reason the blood flow slows down
The other can pick up the slack so the heart
doesn't have to shut down.
If one heart loses the ability to find happiness
The second can get to work and bring some missing bliss,
When the heart gets filled with sadness
The other can bring back some gladness,
For as you can see if you have two hearts everything will be nice
For having just one heart would just never suffice.
