The Thing That Matters


Love is the only thing that matters
For hatred certainly never flatters,
Anger is always a bad thing Since
there is no good that can bring,
But there is so much good love provides
Once found make sure it never subsides,
For if you have a source of love
You will be happy for all the days to come,
The source can come in more than one form
From your Mom who helps you weather any storm,
Or from someone with the ability to keep you warm,
Sometimes your spouse who's with you for every fight
Standing by your side from daybreak 'til night,
You have many avenues you may travel down
Therefore love is something that can always be found,
And if you get lost there is a map you have had from the start,
Although you might not think that's so make sure to
check your heart.
