The Poet
So often the poet himself is forgotten
But the words last forever, never rotten,
For only a stanza and rhyme
Can stand the test of time,
It's length really doesn't matter
The reader, it just has to flatter,
The topic can be quite varied
As long as the meanings carried,
Whether you right for yourself or a friend
It's really all the same in the end,
Only one thing must be kept in-sight
That's write because you love to write.
