Thinking Spring

When spring is on our minds what do we think of ?
Beautiful butterflies, sunshine, and the pretty white dove,
Flowers that will soon be in vibrant bloom
Happy couples planning a wedding in June,
Nice weather everywhere we look
Sitting on the front porch with a good book,
Many creatures waking from long naps
To catch a glimpse of you and I perhaps,
Young children all saying hooray
As the school year winds down to the last day,
Sons and daughters asking to go to the neighbors to play
For outdoor recreation is surely on the way,
But all you have to do sis is have a happy birthday.
