This was supposed to be the opening sentence of a short story I was going to write about Russia once, a collosal effort which somehow came to nothing. I simply realized I didn't know anything about Russia. And I know I shan't until I get there! I think that opening sentence, however, will remain open, making a good beginning of a true story, the story of the majority of us Westerners, with our frank enjoyment of power and money (much more money than taste!), flaunting our luck. Anyway, I share your fasc nation with Russia and shall be coming back to your site to take a peek at your book.
